“Taking off one star because they don’t post their prices you have to go online to see how much things cost. Good local deli. Staff are nice, food is comparable to other NJ delis. Price are a bit higher, but reasonable for northern NJ. There are all of the deli breakfast and lunch type sandwiches, snacks and drinks. In a strip mall so convenient for after Kid classes in an adjacent business.“

They provided the desserts for multiple different events (retirement party, bachelorette party, bridal shower) and knocked it out of the park each time. “In 2024, the Monsey area is filled with catering establishments, take-out store, and bakeries, and yet Glaubers, which has been here forever, is still the best. They have catered kiddushin and a wedding for us and we were always greatly satisfied. The only mention I have and it's seriously not a big deal was the dining room that we were seated in was a bit too dark I actually had to turn my flashlight on my phone to see. “As charming as the bakery is, it pales in comparison to Miss Eleanor, the owner. Over the past several years I developed a sensitivity to wheat, so I wanted a gluten-free snack. She had a wide selection of sweets (cupcakes, cookies, brownies) but I saw the picture of biscuits and quickly decided to enjoy them with my coffee.

I took Ms Eleanor up on her offer to warm them up and chatted while waiting for my order to be complete. We had a lovely conversation about so many things - food, travel, career changes.

The biscuits were delicious and very reasonably priced so I’ll have to make my way back soon.

“I have been going to the official cake lady now for 10-11 years and about 3-4 times in a year. Kim never ever disappoints. She makes our vision come to life. The cake is so good we drive over an hour to pick it. Kim is always professional and listens to every detail needed for the cake.
