“Had dinner here and it was very tasty. The establishment interior is a small refined diner. Four booth seats bar top and two stand alone tables. The booth seating was plush and comfortable to fit up to four diners. One waitress and bartender on duty, with a small kitchen. We were sat and waited on fast, but food took sometime as the place filled up fast after. We ordered the steak and the wedge salad and fries. Took roughly 25-30 minutes for the food to come out. The Steak portion was tiny, not diner sized but to be expected for the area. The meat was tender and well seasoned the potatoes were soft and complemented the dish. The wedge salad was cheesy and well seasoned.“

“This Manhattan diner was neat and clean, and the food was definitely good. The staff was friendly, but one downside was that they charged for refills on small cups, which felt a bit pricey. Overall, a solid spot for a tasty meal if you’re in the area, just be aware of the extra charges, they will try to be sneaky.“

Our server Brandi M. belted out a wicked version of The wizard and I! I ordered the BLT with avocado and waffle fries and my friend ordered the chicken and waffles. Both were delicious.“

“This was our 3rd time visiting. We brought friends from FL and we wanted to give them an experience of a wonderful NJ diner. Food wise it was amazing but this time it was VERY loud with music and it was impossible to have a conversation. It ended up being a different experience than the one I planned because of how loud it was. Our server was great and food was delicious, but I am not sure if I would visit again because it was hard to have a conversation with people at the table.“

“Traditional old school diner with wonderful staff and very intimate. Prices and food are better than the fancier looking, large dinners in the city. The place is small but customers are wise to eat and allow others to enjoy breakfast and great burgers for lunch. “Had breakfast there twice. Once solo and the next time with my wife. Consecutive Tuesdays. Just there this morning, after the golf range at Chelsea Piers. It's a combination of Greek and Mexican specialties. I have sampled the eggs overeasy with corned beef and this time had three poached eggs with fresh tomato and feta, home fries and coffee. All wonderful. My wife had fried eggs with ham on top of grilled taco. She loved it. This is a top notch diner with excellent service.“

“I was in the club, didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant this time around. The door person & security were great, took a second to get in but they were polite & had to let in a few guest before me. I got to see DJ Ellie play and for a Thursday it was busy pretty early. The dj before Ellie was good, the service was fine & people were dancing. Great mood for a Thursday in lower Manhattan. I’ll have to try the food next time.“

“Wait staff was friendly and you were not pushed to finish dinner. We had the shrimp po' boy and the grilled ribeye open face steak sandwich. I asked for my French fries to be extra crispy and they were delicious. After driving for almost 5 hours, sitting in rush hour traffic and construction, this diner made our day and on a really great note.“

Well prepared but hardly sufficient for a grown man. Partner had the pressed chicken that was dry. If they catered for meat eaters by having a carnivore appetizer and more substantial steak I'd return. Service and ambiance very nice.“

“Looking for a place to eat some Spanish food in the area, we gladly end up here. Service from the only waitress that night was exceptional and very professional. The place is big and I believe because it was late at night was almost empty, I.saw a lots of take out orders do. Now here you will find the typical freezers/coolers with all kinds of colombian sodas, desserts and what not. They do have a good variety in the bakery section. And the food was surprisingly good with a good flavor and presentation. Prices were reason too. Overall if we ever come back to this area we will be paying a visit to this place again“

We really LOVED the food, it was our first trip to Jersey City and our first time trying American diner food and this place was a great start to the trip. Really liked the corned beef and hash, goes perfectly well with some hotsauce, and washed down with a cup of freshly squeezed orange juice. Will definitely be back if we are in the area!“

It’s solid diner fare. Nothing is amazing but nothing is bad either. The pastrami is above average for a diner. Burgers are solid as is most breakfast. It’s $$$ for what it is.

Weekend breakfast will be packed, especially before noon.

As far as chicken n Waffles d*** fuk unless u specify fried chicken and waffles, u will get tenders as for the gravy stupid for ur chicken, ur supposed to use syrup with this plate. If you did get fried chicken the cost would go up, duhh let me guess u would b**** about that to. Unless u no how a dish is served u should not complain because u sound like a fukn d*** a** who doesn't have a clue about dining out.. you wud be the type to go to a classy astablishment and say wats all the forks and spoons for by one plate.. ask before u comment and make a a** out of urself“
