“If you want a slice of pepperoni, they take a plain slice, apply pepperoni pieces on top, then heat it until the pepperoni is melted into the cheese. Definitely one of the outstanding slices in the area. Nice, old fashioned Baker's Pride oven, too. Not many of them left.

“We chose to have a small wedding at Tree Tavern! We planned for months as we loved the set up of the outside. We came and tried food and drinks, and every person we encountered were extremely nice and helpful. They helped us every step of the way. The options we had for the food was amazing. We got to customize it to how we wanted and then pick a very nice drink package. The pricing was outstanding. They helped with the set up and take down of the wedding and honestly helped us with every little detail. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day or a better venue for our special day. If we could do it over again we wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you to Mike, the wonderful owner. Joyce who helped us plan everything and Vicky who helped us pick out all our drinks. Tree Tavern is a place we will come to again and again. The atmosphere is beautiful and the people are great. They helped make our wedding day magical. This place is definitely deserves more than 5 stars!”

“All the people, with their negative reviews maybe they don’t have the right place. I’ve been eating here for the last decade and honestly their food has always been delicious. I’ve always compared their Chinese food to other places and other places have always disappointed for the most part besides another place locally as well! Especially when you live out of state, you realize how good our NJ food is!! Can you also believe they’re one of the few that offer the ginger sauce ?! When I lived out of state I would ask other Chinese restaurants for ginger sauce and they didn’t even know what I meant ! Chens is the best and quick service !”

“Been a while since we went to Axton’s, but my wife and I will be celebrating 30 years this week, we thought we’d start with a fine dinner WTH Chef Anton. Early on a Sunday during the summer was far from their busy time, so we had a chance to chat. For starters, we shared an apple mango salad. Shame on me for not reading the menu. The dressing is apple mango. Home made! I was looking for mango in the salad. Apple, craisins, two kinds of cheese…. Perfect for a hot July day. My wife ordered the shrimp marinara over spinach instead of pasta. Delicious and even more impressive was that the shrimp had their tails removed. A great touch. The piece de resistance was my scallop special. Scallops topped with Crabcake coating topped with bacon. Served over a bed of spinach with cherry tomatoes and more. My wife called it spectacular. I thought it was a taste of heaven. Couldn’t figure out one taste in the sauce. Originally thought mango, but there was none in the salad. Had to ask if it was peach? Mango was the winner. The dish was a bigger winner!”

“First time stopping in. The food was great. And the price was very reasonable. The place has great atmosphere, clean & so much to choose from. Staff was super friendly. Especially Brooks, who went above & beyond helping us try decide what to order. I'm not kidding when I say everything looked so good. He kindly gave different suggestions. He took time to explain different options, what they were and how they were made. Any questions or requests we had were met with nothing but kind responses. Will definitely be back!”

“The Chili Mushroom was excellent. Their portions are large when it comes to the biryani, which I liked. This the type of place you can come to hungry and leave happy. The customer service is good. Their chai tea was excellent. I've been to many different restaurants. This is one I want to come back to in the future. If you like spicy food this is the place for you.”

I've been dying to come here since it opened so very long ago and FINALLY all the stars aligned (i.e., I actually remembered when it was not a Monday!) and I picked up soup for lunch today. HOW HAVE I WAITED SO LONG. The mulligatawny soup was incredible. It's such a cute place and the owner and staff were so friendly! I can't wait to eat in - and try the jerk chicken sandwich!!!! “I wish I took before pictures of our food. We stopped in after a very long day out and about and the food was so good that we left feeling energized. We got the ocean roll, pork buns, tonkotsu ramen and a spicy tuna onigiri. Everything was delicious!!

The ocean roll was fresh and tasty, the pork buns were just delicious, the ramen was so so amazing- the pork was tender, the broth was so flavorful and all the add ins just did wonders for the the flavor and the spicy tuna onigiri was hands down one of the best we’ve had.

The service was also great! The staff was so friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was on par and so cute! We cannot wait to come back and are so happy we found our new go to spot 🤗
