“It was an acceptable sausage egg and cheese. I have to say it did take a while but I enjoyed the sandwich. The atmosphere is a little dated but I mean it’s bagels 4 u and not atmosphere 4 u so I can’t ding them for that. I also found out that this place is a chain. That means I’ll have to visit more and do a cross sectional analysis of my experiences at this franchise.“

“Modern American bagel store with a big variety of top- notch, tasty bagels, croissants, cream cheeses, drinks and juices, and hot breakfast meals. You can get a nice pork roll, egg, and cheese on a hard roll (with SP&K), or croissant, or any one of a very large variety of eggs, meats, etc. egg whites only, and even a jumbo breakfast burrito. Everything is made-to-order, so you order, pay, sit your tush down (or stand), and they bring it out to you. There's plenty of parking, and tables inside. Mr. Cashier could try smiling a little more, or even just a little.
They did get my sons' order incorrect, but it was soon rectified. All the food was sumptuous and well made. I'm sure you'll enjoy this bagel restaurant as much as we did.“

“Great breakfast sandwich options for less. Called ahead every time and without fail, my order was ready to go every time I walked in. We enjoyed the bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant as well as plain bagels with cream cheese. The coffee was also nothing to scoff at either. We definitely enjoyed our breakfast, so much so that we went back the next day. And for the price, you can't beat it. Definitely better than what you will get at the nearby hotels and for less.“

“I always had Dunellen Bagel when I lived there and it’s the best bagel I’ve ever had. I moved and bagels aren’t the same here so everytime I visit Jersey I have to go to Dunellen Bagel and I have my husband addicted too. He’s never tasted a bagel like this and he was amazed. So we bring bagels back home in our carry-on and freeze them at home. I would 100% definitely recommend this place!“

“The bagels here are the best anywhere around. I love the Everything bagels the most.

However, I noticed one thing on checking out. When you put your card in the slot it gives you an option to tip: 10%, 15% and 20%.
BUT THERE IS NO OPTION FOR NO TIP. It forces you to leave a tip in order to check out. This is unarmed robbery. Why should I tip someone behind a counter who simply picked bagels out of the basket, put them in a bag and hand it to you.

This is utter nonsense! If I were waited on, like they bring my food to a table, then ok. From 2000 and back through time, the business owners would have laughed their heads off at such a notion. This is insanity. They want a handout for just doing their jobs. No one ever tipped me for doing my job (as an accountant). So why should I tip someone for just doing theirs?

So from now on I pay cash and will pocket the exact change. They rig up this nonsense because the owners do not pay their help sufficiently and expect the general public to make up the difference. BULLCRAP“

“Very small bagel store, no frill interior. I believe they have a couple small tables at most and a wall hung flat panel. Tables may have been removed during peak COVID. Parking is pretty decent, I can typically get a parking spot without issue. Some bagel varieties do run out quite early in the morning. Typically everything bagel, salt, egg, wheat, blueberry are available later in the day. I do feel these bagels are some of the best in the immediate area, not bready, with enough chewy and crispy parts and moist. They have basic variety of bagel flavor selection but not a huge variety. Bagels have always been spot on consistent. Friendly staff and typically quick service.“

“Really awesome bagels! Typical bagel shop / deli fare. I like the variety of bagels - they have everything, egg everything and a whole wheat everything! Their multi-grain and french toast bagels are awesome too. Great food. Cooks prepare the food correctly. The staff are very friendly, it shows when they are rushed or stressed, but otherwise they are welcoming and thank us for coming in. It looks like some reviewers have complained about the staff, but the staff always welcome us when we walk in the door, they are kind, friendly and joke around with us. You cant ask for better!
