“I’ve always passed by this place but today was the first time I actually went in…and I’m soo happy I did because I was absolutely in LOVE with the almond butter smoothie & the freshly squeezed carrot beet ginger juice that I ordered today. “Finally gave this place a try and it exceeded all my expectations. Everything is fresh and packed with flavor, portions are perfect. Pricing is so fair for the quality and amount of food you get. “Their smoothies are always spot on and refreshing. I also like their toast and my go to is always the smoked salmon toast. However, I noticed their bread has gotten smaller and thicker. And it was incredibly hard to cut through with all the toppings. They used to use the longer bread so it was easier to manage. Other than that, it’s a nice spot for a quick healthy lunch.“

“The place was empty for 1230pm on a Monday. Maybe because it was raining. Service and food was great! I never had any problems with the food at any Playa bowls. It's always consistent! Tons of flavor and crunch! I ordered the Nica bowl this time to try something different. It tasted great! Still, my favorite is the coco power bowl. Parking is a bit of a pain. You are in downtown Summit.“

“My hubby and I came here for lunch. Once we sat down, we were immediately greeted by our server Austin. I cannot tell you how amazing he was. From the second we sat down until the moment we left, he was outstanding. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable about the food and patient. He gave such great suggestions and I followed his suggestions. I got the quesadilla and my hubby got the rise and shine. Both were so so good! The quesadilla was DELICIOUS. I had it with a sauce on the side and it was amazing. We also spoke with the manager James who was so so nice and professional and just such a pleasure to speak with. It has a cool atmosphere plus the plastic seat makes it very cold in the winter time. Any chance of changing it?“
