“Absolutely amazing. They're a family owned restaurant so I understand its hard with these times and coronavirus. Its hard to find good Indian food and I must say, I've been coming here for more than 20 years and I still will be coming more and more! Out of all the restaurants in parsippany & Rt 46, I specially come down to Wayne to eat this amazing food. my fav is the sag panir, malai kofta, and vegetable biryani. I love the one waitress and how she explained the spice levels according to chiptole and taco bell! the uncle who is the owner always greets everyone like hes known them for years. Like we are family, its heart warming since i dont live with my family. Amazing food, amazing people and amazing prices!“

“Excellent customer service from everyone.When I called to reserve the table Ashishbhai was so polite & send me confirmation text. When I went he personally came & show the table even though He was not working at my table. Pratikbhai is excellent every time. He ask the taste & bring the same taste food. Jambu was so good even he knows what I ordered last time & he brought same order I liked in past. Food is excellent, Everyone liked all the food . I really loved to go for dinner , I wish I have the same service in Paramus.Good luck!!!!“

“I remember when this location was actually a cuban sandwich joint, then a pizza place that had nice pizza, then it became Spicy Bytes, my girlfriend and I were always so curious about this place but due to the odd weekday hours we never were able to tell if they were open. It was one day a week or two ago that I was walking around with my girlfriend where she suggested we try this place out since we noticed it was opened! Upon entering a young woman welcomed us warmly and showed us the menu, and took a seat. We ordered a Butter Chicken Curry to share and two orders of garlic naan bread, and got the curry at a medium spice level since my girlfriend can't handle spicy stuff at all, and she ADORED IT!
Upon taking her first bite of the butter chicken my girlfriends eyes lit up and widened, it was also her first time trying Indian food so I could tell she was very much hooked. We enjoyed our meal and were asked by the young lady if we needed anything else through out our meal, which I really appreciated. After eating we were both very satisfied and definitely plan on coming back for more. I am surprised they haven't done much with the interior since the last place since it still very much feels like the previous pizza place, but it honestly didn't bother me as this places food is something you should not miss :)“

“First time I had Indian food was a few years ago in NC, and I was NOT impressed. We were up visiting my sister in Ridgewood and we went out for fathers day dinner at Tabla. We ordered a bunch of different appetizers and entrees and we shared them all. I was absolutely impressed. I totally enjoyed EVERY item. I especially liked the curry fish with coconut milk. The service was exceptional and very friendly, it was an entirely enjoyable experience. I heartily recommend this Indian Restaurant in Ridgewood, NJ.“

“Food - WOW! So much flavor. We had the chicken Tikka masala, shrimp curry, veg samosas and peshwari naan. Everything was so fresh and full of flavor! We talked about making the 2 hr drive back in the future. Ambiance/atmosphere is ok. It's quaint and small, which I kinda like. It's clean even a peek at the kitchen floor you can see that. ?????“

“Great experience from the time we walked through the door. The manager who greeted us noticed I was not pleased with our table and suggested another one that was more to our liking. Our waiter was pleasant, informative and professional. We were surprised that we were given a starter of focaccia type bread topped with Indian spices and served with a side of nicely piped butter. (Which was replenished.) The non-alcoholic drinks were delicious, creative and pretty. All of our main dishes were flavorful and though modern, did not compromise the authentic taste of a medley of Indian spices. We had lamb chops served with spiced potatoes & shredded carrots, branzino in a tangy tomato based sauce, grilled chicken in yogurt and spices, served with an Indian slaw and accompanied by yogurt and mint chutney and a very interesting dish with rice and yellow lentils topped with a variety of condiments that you mixed together yourself creating a myriad of amazing flavors. All was accompanied by white basmati rice on the house that was automatically replaced as needed. We were all full so only ordered one dessert to share which was perfect and light. Because they knew we were celebrating a birthday, dessert was compted. The murals on the walls were beautiful and while dining you are surrounded by flowers tastefully hanging from the ceilings. Wow! What a wonderful experience! We booked the same table before leaving for a date 3 weeks away!“

“One of my fantastic experiences at an Indian restaurant. Great service, great food, great ambience, great price. Staring with the complimentary pappadums, fryums and chutney to fantastic goat cheese vadas and samosas for appetizers to entrees and 4 gulag jamuns for dessert - everything was fantastic. One of the few restaurants where they serve enough food that you don't think twice if the food was enough, and you are pleasantly surprised with the check. Great Value for Money.“

“I just ordered the Lamb Biryani and it was phenomenal!!!!! The lamb was super tender and the rice very aromatic, and spicy as I asked for it be. “Everything was divinely delicious! I highly recommend both the crab and spinach with goat cheese appetizers! The seasoning on the entress was amazing, you can taste every spice! Truly delicious is an understatement! As for dessert, I can't recall what the exact name is but it's a lentil based pudding and omg, pure heaven! The service, the atmosphere, the people, the place, the music, the cleanliness.....I absolutely loved it all! I adore this place! Can't wait to go back, every blessing for the new year guys! This place is top notch, and as a Greek who grew up in the restaurants (and is def a food snob) that's a huge compliment! I wouldn't just say that about any place, you guys sincerely deserve it! “I usually go to Dosa and Biryani House for their idlis, vadas, dosas and biryanis. They're all fantastic, however, today I'm reviewing a meal via take-out (UberEats).
In my pictures, you can see all of the following highly recommendable dishes:

- Aloo Paratha
- Butter Naan
- lime pickles and raita
All of them were neatly packed up and delicious. A take-out order from Dosa and Biryani House is just as good as eating in. I definitely recommend visiting for an authentic Indian meal!“

“This restaurant was full on fantastic!!! The food was delicious! The khichuri, chicken pulao, butter chicken, biryani, beef bhuna, Haleem, paratha, chicken lollipop, and chicken 65 were all so delicious! The best part of the restaurant was the malai chop— soft and delicious, simply amazing! Also a shoutout to their tea and fresh green mango juice! If you are in New Jersey looking for a halal place to eat with your family this is the place!! The food was just soooooooo good and the customer service was great!! Brother Mustafa was so kind and attentive! You totally need to come eat here!

Food is excellent. Reminds me of Bangladesh town in the Bronx. Vegetable samosa (singhara) needs some salt. Chicken patty (puff) needs more filling (hardly 2 small pieces of chicken in them. Chicken biryani was delicious. Tandoori chicken was good as well. None of them were served with condiments (sad). The best of all is the Chai, it was spot on.

Upon arrival the cashier didn't greet or welcome, however, the server was welcoming. The server was able to speak in English and Hindi which was nice. He was patient and answered all the questions. On purpose I asked the server to pack different things randomly to see his service and he was impeccable. Good customer service.
Atmosphere: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The restaurant is in a sketchy area, not the best of places, however, the restaurant/bakery captured the essence of the area and brought beauty to it. The ambience is very south Asian and reads the area well. Music and clearly labeled menu items with prices would help.“

“Tried the samosa chaat at Sukhadia in Parsippany and it was amazing! Perfect balance of spicy, tangy, and crispy — every bite was bursting with flavor. The chutneys were fresh and the portion was generous. Definitely one of the best chaat spots in the area!“
