“This platters spot offers fresh and tasty food. I tried the mixed platter, and while the lamb was just decent (it tasted like it might be from a box), the chicken was wonderfully juicy and moist. Don't miss the crispy wings, especially with the delicious mango habanero sauce! Their menu has plenty of other options. It's a small place, so it's probably best for takeout.

“Visited Alkumah to try the Viral Crunchy Shawarma wrap and it definitely did not disappoint! The sweet sauce on it provided a tangy flavor that complimented the wrap. It was super filling and I was full before I finished eating it. The crunchiness of the wrap was just perfect and it was still hot and toasty as I ate it. Highly recommend a visit!“

“We went for the first time last Sunday. All I can say is wow. From the wait staff to the kitchen staff to management, everyone was incredibly friendly, unbelievably accommodating when it came to food allergies (they came out to talk about everything in specific detail to make sure it was safe before it was cooked and served), and the food was absolutely delicious!! I would absolutely recommend trying Marakesh out if you haven't been. They will be more than happy to go over the menu and explain anything you might not recognize or need changed because of restrictions. You can also call ahead so it can be prepped ahead of time for you. I will definitely be back again!!“

“I always order food to go at this place. One of the most delicious koftas - beef and lamb both amazing. I call and in 20 min it is ready for pick up. My friends and me often order it to eat in a park before a long walk. Extremely tasty and an enjoyable! Also we love fried cheese there.“

“I have been coming here regularly for three years now and I come quite often to work remotely. The place is big, clean, has Wi-Fi, and the desserts are delicious. I don’t usually order much other than Turkish tea, so I really appreciate the staff welcoming me every time. I want to give a shoutout to the male worker with the glasses (I believe he is Palestinian/Jordanian) for being so attentive and always staying on top of customer service. He greets every customer that comes in and is super friendly. I also especially appreciate the Turkish female worker who usually has her hair tied halfway up. Super sweet. As a loyal customer, I’ll continue to come for years to come because of these reasons, Inshallah.“

We were so glad we waited because the food was fantastic. It was by far one of my favorite Turkish restaurants in NJ. The service here is great. They are very attentive and the food comes out pretty quickly. The seating is a little tight but not uncomfortable. We didn't know they had a parking lot the first time but the next time we came, parking is right next to it which was convenient. Definitely recommend coming to eat here. Stop by in the afternoon on a weekday or weekend when its less crowded. You won't be disappointed.“
