“Having grown up with Texas breakfast tacos I was excited to see a spot in Philly to create what I was missing from home. Bfast taco was good, flavor was def there. A bit on the pricier end for a breakfast taco, even with a homemade tortilla. Was hoping all salsas were given out as well, tried the guaijlo , had good flavor. Not sure if I’ll be a reg just because they’re pricey. But I do appreciate what they are bringing to Philly.“

Relative to the tacos I think these tamales may not get as much publicity but they are unique and fantastic! Of course the tacos are great as well. Of the two taco versions, Lamb and Pork, the Pork was my favorite. The lamb was slightly dry and maybe needed a little spice for my taste. If you have to get them to go because of lack of seating, don't wait too long to eat! If only their standard hours of business were better I'd be there more often.“

“This place gives me nostalgia. There’s something about it that reminds me of being in Burlington Vermont coupled with the laidback apathetic individuality of living through 90s grunge era and listening to Elliott Smith and Neutral Milk Hotel. The interior aesthetic isn’t try hard (they showcase local art on the walls and theres a less-is-more vibe), but theres still a cozy sip-slow-and-linger feel. What sets it apart from other places for me is the muted warmth from the people who work there. The kind where you know if you become a regular you’ll get a half smile and they might remember your name, really adds to the overall charm. And even if this place had none of that going for it, the breakfast sandwiches alone are worth a 30-minute walk. Not only are they only like 6 bucks, but they are delicious. The eggs are incredibly well-seasoned, fluffy, and scrumptious. They also have unique lattes, like Cinnamon Toast Crunch (it actually tastes like it) and their matchas are spot on.Even though there’s at least a dozen coffee shops much closer to us, this is our go-to.“

“Came here for a girls-night-out/catch up with a good friend, since we wanted to "treat ourselves" to fancy, upscale, creative cocktails (rather than our usual dive bar City wide) - and this place did NOT disappoint. I got the gold dust woman (sage gin - pretty yummy, but not too strong. Simple and elegant.) and the Bela Lugosi's Dead (AMAZING! Gin, frothed egg white, and FALL SPICE!!). My friend got the Negroni, which was impeccably strong, if you're into that sort of thing (wasn't really for us). The bartenders were friendly & fun, and after 930pm the bar cleared out enough that we finally got a seat. Be warned- it's expensive at 12$/cocktail, but the ingredients and care put into their creations make it worth it.“

I often have to wait to even be asked if I want a drink let alone food to start. I am not sure if it is a problem with not enough staff or inexperienced staff. Overall, the staff needs to be more attentive to customers. The music choices are completely fine but please, please turn it down. I was torn between 3 or 4 stars. “My buddy told me about this place. I was in the area so figured I’d stop in.It’s a very tiny storefront, however it’s not out of the ordinary for places like this, especially in the city on a Main Street to be much bigger if at all. It has all that you need. I believe it had a wooden bench in there to sit and eat at. As well as 2 or 3 Bar-top kind of tables. Seating capacity is probably 8-10 at most.I can’t speak for anyone but one could only assume that most people are To-go’ing instead of dining in. However, it’s definitely an option. I sure did. I like the small quaint atmosphere. “Hmm... this is my third trip here and I can't believe that I've not left a review or comment. Oh well. This was the last stop for my son and me on our Saturday afternoon brewery crawl. This is where our wives and my granddaughter joined us. It's my son and granddaughter's favorite brewery due to its proximity and spaciousness. For me, it has the absolute best HC parking location l've ever encountered. The building is a huge modern beer hall with a large outdoor space. Plenty of drafts to choose from and lots of lots of employees to accept orders. Today it seemed terribly more crowed than during past visits. After a coffee porter, it was homeward bound for the five of us.“

The draft list is surprisingly decent and always rotating, but there's always a great bottles and cans menu. It's been a while since I've ventured up to the 2nd or 3rd floor, but there's a lot to explore, including a pool table. There's lots of fun stuff on the walls and behind the bar, and the ambiance is usually pretty decent unless an idiot tries to troll everyone on the TouchTunes. Being only about 30 minutes away, I decided to take him up on it. Let me tell you, the outdoor vibes here is amazing. The indoor vibes when it's cold outside is equally awesome. From the nice decor to the warm welcome from Traveeta (sorry if I spelled your name wrong), you can't go wrong. The wine is pretty decent. I enjoyed them so much I'm actually a wine club member. I'm not into sweet wines which is something they do alot of, but their regular Chardonnay and proprietors white blend are pretty friggin good. I'm not big into reds so when I go I tend to get the Cab Franc. All in all, you'll find something here to at least excite your palate.Overall, good vibes, good wine, check it out.“

“Food was great and the prices were even better. If you’re looking for some good Italian food that won’t break the bank, this is the place. The only issue I have going here is they don’t have a dedicated parking lot. You are left to fight for yourself with street parking. 50$ for 2 peopleParking: It’s not easy to find parking on a weekend here. There is free street parking if you go down the side streets and paid parking close to the restaurant“

“Made a pit stop at this Deptford Mall food court for a nice cheesesteak dinner. I was really in the mood for cheesesteak and this spot did not disappoint. The menu was pretty easy to understand and the service was fast and polite. The seating is ample and was not too noisy so my friends and I were able to sit down and talk very comfortably.“

“This place checks off all the boxes. Great staff, great atmosphere and great prices. One of the few places that I will change my schedule or go out of my way for. Today I decided on the Cheesesteak Quesadilla and House Fries served with Spicy Ketchup and Chipotle Mayo. If you are ever in South Philly do not I repeat DO NOT hesitate to stop in! “I love Essen Bakery! They used to just serve out of a small window, but they recently opened a small indoor dining space with a counter with seating and a small cafe table, so you walk inside to order now. The baked goods are always fresh. My favorites are the homemade pop tarts, black and white cookies, bagel and lox, and caramelized onion focaccia. Try to get there earlier in the day, as they generally run out of most things in the afternoon. I would also recommend ordering online in advance if you know you can't make it there in the morning.“

“Very comfortable place to be. Started out with edamame and then had the beef ramen. The biggest adjective I could use for this meal was fresh and definitely flavorful. There were so many dimensions to the flavor. Normally at certain Ramen places I only taste salt. Here with the Ramen every ingredient stood out. Definitely will come back. I recommend not only their Ramen but try their dumplings too. Obviously their edamame was awesome as well.“
