Service here is incredibly fast and the staffs are very friendly as well.(1) Scallion Pancake: Very thin and super crispy outside but pretty chewy inside, it went super well with Hoisin sauce.(2) Chicken in wine sauce: The chicken was cooked perfect but the flavor of this dish was way too salty for me. Would pair great with some white rice.(3) Crab meat & pork soup dumplings: Very decent! A dumpling itself is pretty bigger than other dumplings I’ve tried before. The way I have it is to poke a hole to taste the juice then get a little bit soy sauce mixed with vinegar and thin sliced ginger and take everything in one bite. Perfect.(4) Stir-fried Bok Choy: Pretty good but not too impressive to me. I wish there would be more garlic to it.(5) Shanghai Fried Udon: It was okay but not special enough for me to remember.(6) Pan fried crispy noodles with vegetables: I love this dish the most! Very saucy and flavorful and has a lot of mushrooms and veggies to it. However, you should eat this right when it comes out or else your noodles will get soggy.(7) Beef braised noodles: It was okay as well, not too special for me to remember. I wish it was spicier.Overall, the experience was worth it to try one of the very popular restaurants in Cherry Hill. “In my opinion the food I selected was not as great as I thought it would be given the reviews. I ordered their pork fried rice which wasn't bad but could do better flavor wise. Their pizza rolls were like any other roll is so no complaints there. I tried their Mongolian beef and was disappointed to see them drenched in this sauce, to me I don't like my food too saucey, and the flavor wasn't all there either. I also ordered their bbq spare ribs which were also mid... not a lot of meat on the bones. But my 4 year told said they were good. Overall I think a 4 is a fair rating from my experience. Originally I was going to rate it a 3 based off the food but the customer service from the beginning to end were nothing short of amazing, starting with the lady who took the order and the nice gentleman who delivered the food. The boneless spare ribs are the best I ever had and the General Tao's Chicken is out of this world. I also suggest the Chinese pizza and every type of egg rolls and spring rolls are another favorite of mine. I like to try different dishes even dishes I've never tried in my life and I surprised myself how good everything was being a picky eater. A lot of Chinese Restaurants started to use smaller containers which means smaller portions but at Chan's Garden the containers and portions are large and filled to the top with their great food. I'm older and I always forget to take pictures but the next time I go there I'll take some pictures and add them to this review so you can see for yourself.Parking: It's in a busy strip store and I never had a problem finding a spot close to the restaurant.“
“My family has been picking up take out from the other King Wong location on route 70 now for years, but this was my first experience at this location. I figured our experience would be positive since the restaurants are under the same ownership. Sonny is a great guy and every time I interact with him he is happy and up beat. No Sonny this time but our experience was still great. We ordered an egg roll, small pork fried rice, Mongolian beef, and an egg drop wonton soup (yes you read the last part correctly and it's great (upon request)). There isn't really any place to sit and eat in the restaurant so I'd consider them strictly take out (they also do not deliver). Inside the restaurant itself is small and very We were told 10 minutes for pick up by the time we ordered and it was ready in 10 minutes. The total came to slightly over $30 and was well worth it. Food was hot. It all tasted delicious. Portions were very generous. I had Mongolian beef leftovers for 2 consecutive days after eating that night and the pork fried rice was protruding out of the top of the container and the lid barely closed. The Mongolian beef was loaded with green onions (one of my favorites), the beef was tender, and it was spicy! The dish came with plenty of white rice which also lasted me through the next day. The pork fried rice was a beautiful golden-brown and flavorful. The wontons were tasty and perfectly cooked. I've actually never heard of combining egg drop and wonton soup but my girlfriend loves it and King Wong does it upon request. Our order came with 3 fortune cookies, a bag of fried noodles, and the sauces (duck, soy, hot mustard, hot sauce) were next to the counter to take yourself. There is plenty of parking as it's located in a strip mall with other businesses. Our experience was very good and my girlfriend orders from here often. We'll definitely be back again.“
