“Honestly, it makes me so happy that a place like this still exists in downtown Montclair. I picked up two pizzas today - a pepperoni and a cheese for $25. The woman there was incredibly sweet and gave me a free container of cut watermelon as well. I really like their pizza and have always sung their praises - it’s slightly spicy. Traditional? One tip if you’re placing a mobile pickup order: make sure you tap “I’m already here” in the app before you arrive (or as you’re pulling in), since that’s what starts the order preparation. Otherwise, you may end up waiting longer than expected while they make your food after you get there.

“Great hot wings, that's pretty much the only thing I ever get here, but I have had other things, and it was pretty good. All the employees are really friendly and extremely patient. Just to be perfectly honest, this place is located in a rather tough area, so keep that in mind when going here. Also there's no seating, it's strictly take out, the prices are very fair, and it offers a decent amount of other products similar to a small bodega. All in all, the wings keep me going back almost weekly for a number of years now and I've never had any problems with other customers. Enjoy!“

“Dropped by here Tuesday night and Neighborhood Favorites is a great late-night spot, especially if you’re looking for good food without spending a lot. I came in with a certain amount I wanted to spend, and the girl with red hair who took my order was extremely kind and helpful. She took the time to explain the different options on the menu and helped me figure out what I could get within my budget. I think the name on my receipt may have been Randy, but either way, shoutout to her for the great customer service!

I ended up getting the salmon with rice and a drink for only around $14, which I thought was a really good deal for the portion. The salmon was surprisingly juicy and flavorful, and the sauce that came with it was really good too. For the price, I was definitely satisfied with how much food I got.

Overall, I highly recommend Neighborhood Favorites if you’re in the area, especially for a late-night meal. Good food, affordable prices, generous portions, and friendly service. I love seeing affordable local spots like this in my neighborhood and hope they continue doing well. Definitely stop by and support them!“

When my family and I crave Chinese takeout, this is our go-to spot. Not only do they churn out large takeout orders in good time (our orders are typically quite large, and we've never had an issue in the thirty or so times we've ordered in the past), but it's always hot, well-seasoned, and well-prepared.

Our orders typically include a 'something-and-broccoli' dish, and they always manage to cook the broccoli to perfect tenderness. I'll also add that this is the only takeout place (ever) where I've actually liked the sesame chicken. In most places, it's either too sweet, mushy, or overly sauced; here, it's dependably delicious.

We especially love the combination plates on the menu, which offers certain entrees with a choice of fried rice or lo mein and a side of egg rolls.“
