I paid $27 literally for some chicken, rice, and cabbage. Call it a portion and a half but I did eat the entire thing. Really though, I can go almost anywhere in this city and get the same, if not better, for $12-15. I’ll be honest, I am not even sure how they remain in business charging those prices to people. I ordered Amala with Gbegiri and Ewedu, Titus fish, yam & plantain, and honey beans — and everything tasted exceptionally fresh. The spice level was perfectly balanced, and the Titus fish brought back memories of Lagos. Properly seasoned, well cooked, and deeply flavorful.

Portions are generous. Yes, prices are slightly on the higher side, but the serving size and quality absolutely justify it.

The Zobo was vibrant and refreshing. Service was warm and attentive — Florence was a gracious host, and the front staff were helpful even during a moderate wait.

The atmosphere feels like a true 9ja buka spot — good music, clean interior, authentic vibe. Parking is limited in front, and the exterior can get a bit cluttered, but the food is the clear focus here.
