“Felix is the man and the smoothie and smoothie bowls are always a delicious and healthy bang for your buck, but having had the Spicy Squash and Chicken Noodle Soup, I can safely say this is my favorite spot to grab something tasty and healthy and worth the money, the soup is sooooooo good. I walked it while he was prepping another batch of the squash soup. And it smelled soooooooo oooo o good. The picture of my soup doesn’t do it justice as I’ve eaten the chicken out of it and now I’m sipping on the broth which has the slightest kick to it. I’m obsessed. “Shoutout to Marques who helped me out & for putting me on to this gem! I tried The Blueprint and I was not disappointed. It was my first time ever trying blue spirulina and honestly, what a way to be introduced to it. The flavor was amazing and I loved knowing I was drinking something that was actually good for me. Even the juice Beet Bop was good.

But beyond the drinks, the vibe here is something unique. The hospitality is genuine, and unlike anything you'd expect from a juice bar, it's the kind of place that has its own personality and energy.

“The Paradise juice was very refreshing. You can tell the fruits and veggies are fresh. The classic house style sandwich is super stuffed. The ham in it is really tasty. It has a sweet and salty flavor. The workers are sweet, the atmosphere is clean, and the interior design is cool. I would definitely come back again!“

She recommended the Nana bowl, along with the Funky monkey smoothie, and gut green juice. They also have Dubai chocolate strawberries which I must try when I come back :) My favorite items I ordered were the funky monkey protein smoothie and the gut juice :)“

“The place was empty for 1230pm on a Monday. Maybe because it was raining. Service and food was great! I never had any problems with the food at any Playa bowls. It's always consistent! Tons of flavor and crunch! I ordered the Nica bowl this time to try something different. It tasted great! Still, my favorite is the coco power bowl. Parking is a bit of a pain. You are in downtown Summit.“

“In addition to the tasty toasts and healthy smoothies -- with many diverse offerings and flavor profiles -- I loved the service more than anything.

The one item we didn't completely love when we went was our chai. Like many western chais, this one was too sweet. (To me, once it's that sweet, you lose all those aromatic notes of the ginger and cinnamon, but that's beside the point).

When I approached the workers with our feelings on the drink, they were quick to make a change without charging us. They completely remade the drink with less syrup, and it made a huge difference.

So, we we will definitely be back for a second visit! It's a great atmosphere, with fun options, and a helpful staff. Remaking that drink was really nice and showed they will do what's in their power to make your experience the best it can be.“

I was greeted by a woman and man behind the counter who I presume to be the owners..they were quite friendly. I was looking for a smoothie place that opens before 7am and they opened at 6am. It's located on Bloomfield Ave in Newark, NJ and if you know the area, it's quite busy. Parking may be scarce. I ordered the coffee banana smoothie and it was tasty. It was approximately 32oz? And it was 10.00. They also have add ins such as protein, collagen, etc.This may seem pricey but healthy food will cost you. I wanted to try the crepes which also were 10.00 but I did not have time to wait. The smoothie was not too sweet which I liked. I would like to try their other flavors so I will definitely go back. My one issue is that a list of ingredients of the smoothies would be helpful, as well as what is used to sweeten the smoothies.“

“The most beautiful and thoughtfully prepared smoothies, salads, açaí bowls, and fresh meals! Friendly and fast service. I work next door and could not live without Fresh Press Juice Co. I’m probably here at least twice a week!

Everything is gluten free, and the employees are so helpful and informed about histamine sensitive diets. When it’s cold out, I’ll get a bowl of their soup du jour + a side of the gluten free bread they carry. (It’s the best GF bread I’ve had anywhere)
