“It’s rated 5 star in the internet so I order food by phone. It was delivered on time as promised. There’s a little mixed up on my order that they immediately corrected. They don’t argue, accept their fault and send me the right one. Food are great, personnel are courteous, service are excellent. I ordered chicken wings with fried rice, beef with broccoli, tofu with mixed veggies and house special chow mein.“

“I order from this restaurant regularly and very thoroughly enjoy the food. However tonight I got their boneless spare ribs and I have to say they are the best I have ever had. They're tender they fall apart in your mouth and they're absolutely delicious.

“China Garden is definitely one of the best spots around if you’re looking for affordable and delicious Chinese takeout. The food is consistently good — flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. When you pick up your order directly, the prices are very reasonable. I spent about $18 for two full meals, which is a great deal considering the portion sizes.

Just a heads up: if you order through Uber Eats or other delivery apps, the total can get pretty pricey with fees and markups. So if you want to keep it affordable, picking up is definitely the way to go.

“After our go-to place sold to new owners during covid, we had been struggling trying to find a Chinese spot that actually had good food....then we found Joyful Garden. We have ordered more items than we normally do just to try out different things amd everything has been excellent. The only thing that wasn't a hit with my husband was the honey wings....he didn't care for the sauce on the wings and texture of the wings. Otherwise this place has great food, at great prices. But if you notice the dishes they prepare aren't Chinese food it's American food just cook their way and the texture is great. “We have lived in Hopewell 15 years and this newer china wok is absolutely AMAZING. We love the food it's more clean tasting not greasy. Fresh veggies are used too. “I did an order delivery tonight and it's probably enough for three or four nights. I ordered directly from the store..The delivery came within 30 minutes and the lady I spoke to to make the order was very nice before that. I got some steamed chicken dishes with sauce on the side. I asked for brown rice instead of white rice and it was only a dollar per serving. I also got pork with snow peas and it came perfectly beautifully steamed even though i didn't specify that but it's exactly how I like it. Also lo mein as well. All of this with delivery fee and tip totalled about 60 or $65. And the food tastes just great. I am so happy I ordered from them and this is the second time I did so and had forgotten about them for a while. I rate this as the best Chinese delivery food in the area.

“The food is good, but I never understood, I order 4 chicken ? wings and they gave me only 3 instead of 4. When I called them, the lady told me that she gave me 3 instead of 4 because the 3 are the big ones. After 2 weeks, I ordered 2 orders of chicken ? wings again and should be 8 wings, but instead was only 7 wings and I called them again and she told me the same like the previous older, the wings are big. I just don't understand, but anyway the food is good.“
