“I have tried Halal Guys and Adels, but honestly, their chicken over rice is the best I had in the entire USA. I am absolutely hooked I have been eating it every day for the past four months! I got the original chicken with rice platters and one chicken mix gyro wrap. Excellent and momma is really hard to please. We’re transplants from NYC and with NYC being at the top of the dining out / take home capital it is tough for many States and counties to compete with the flavor and cooking styles easily found in NYC just around every corner.

OMGRYRO easily hits all the marks with the exception of the Jerk Chicken. Jerk Chicken flavor profile is no bueno in my humble opinion and that is because it doesn’t come close to tasting like jerk seasoning and can’t compare to true jerk style flavor.

Everything else is we ordered and devoured tasted great, high on flavor with decent portion sizes.

Hope they put the Jerk Season flavor to the chicken NYC style.“

“My first time going into this restaurant and the place was very clean and smelled like fresh food. The lady behind the counter was sweet, welcoming and very friendly. Honestly it has been a long time since Ive gotten this kind of service in a food establishment. Coming from New York I’ve been wary about buying halal food from Rahway (where I live for 5 years) because a lot of food places have disappointed me in this very area. So I’ve bypassed this place for a long time. But today I’ve decided to stop in after reading its reviews and I have to say. I am pleasantly surprised the food is good and fresh the spice was perfect and the falafels were very good. I am so happy this place is close to home I will be in here often. And I will absolutely go in sooner than later for the hostess. Her vibes were beautiful. Salam alaikum. I recommend for all!“

“Food: A quality is great and generous portions for the price. The kathi rolls are loaded with tons of chicken tikka and still held together well after takeout. Their chicken seekh kebabs are flavorful and you can see them cooking inside the tandoor to get that nice char.

Staff/Service: A+ The owner and staff are great and very nice. We made edits and asked for some sides and they were so generous. Its easy to see the owner still has a passion for what he does and is happy to interact and see repeat customers.

Ambience: It’s meant for a takeout restaurant really so i dont think many ppl dine in.

Parking: Have to park on the street. Not inside a shopping mall with lot“

“I ordered Chicken Biryani and Chicken Kabab through Uber Eats. After I ordered , I realized that I forgot to order Nan. So I called the restaurant and ask them that what can I do now. The person(probably the owner) replied , I will add Nan and whenever you visit, give me 2 Dollars. That was really a nice gesture which I will remember and must appreciate(along with the debt on me).
Talking about food, I had eaten many Biryanis in USA but it is one of the best real Pakistani biryani. Kababs were also fresh and tasty. I highly recommend those who want to have Halal and real Pakistani taste, must visit.“

“Humble seems to be the best word to summarize this restaurant. The men who run it seem to have a great rapport with their customers; they’ve been there for 20+ years and it shows. They were kind and accomodating. The food was plated carefully and was pretty taste. My only complaints were putting margarine on my pancakes without asking and the tiny plastic utensils, which left my hands covered in syrup. However both of those go to the restaurant being unpretentious. There’s no atmoshere to speak of but it was clean. I’d eat here again but probably wouldn’t go out of my way.“

“One of the best places to eat in Metuchen nj. The food and service is excellent I have travelled from NYC many times just to eat there.

“Loved the food — both the buffet and à la carte options are great. The buffet had a nice mix of dishes and everything tasted super fresh and flavorful. You can tell they use quality ingredients.

The à la carte parathas were hot, crispy, and stuffed perfectly — definitely comfort food done right. Staff was friendly and service was quick too.

“After a tasty round of appetizers including tangy baked Fava beans, creamy smooth hummus, baba ghanoush and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside falafel, we feasted on two lamb dishes, one of which was perfectly grilled, and an order of couscous with vegetables. I still remember today how great everything tasted. Service was friendly and efficient and the decor included lamps and accessories imported from Morocco. Portions were generous and they provide containers for the leftovers. You can only eat so much! Highly recommended.“

There was no one in there when I first went in, but boy did that change quickly. About 5 minutes later, it was like a family gathering full of people who did not know one another, but we had one thing in common. WE LOVE THAT CHICKEN 😂!! Y'all, we talked about the chicken and how good it is. We even stayed until a fresh batch came out. We laughed and brought up memories of the 2 staff that were still there since our younger aging, me now 50. The point is to get there and get THAT CHICKEN!! OH, the chicken steak was delicious as well. I loved that it was not dry. Also, try the pizza with the beef pepperoni slices.🤤🤤😁😍🍗🍕

“Best waffles I’ve ever had. Not sure what they put in the batter but I’ve never had a waffle that tastes as good as the ones here.

All the other breakfast sandwiches are also really good, and the prices are very reasonable. I’ve only had their breakfast so I can’t comment on their other food.

I’d mostly recommend takeout here, yes there is a seating area but it’s kind of small.
