“LOVE this place. I have eaten hear several times. It has a great family atmosphere. The wait staff (which has been the same each time we go) are friendly and funny! They make you feel like you are right at home. The AUTHENTICATE Mediterranean food is EXCELLENT! I am already looking forward to go back again!“

“We had a great dinner here before the show at Mayo.Their complimentary pita was soft and warm and served with cute butter candle and hummus full of olive flavor. We had to stop ourselves from filling up before entrees. The octopus appetizer came with really fine mash potatoes and capers. For entrees, we’ve got Paidakia (grilled lamb chop) and grilled Lavraki (sea bass). I was pleasantly surprised by the braided fish, wow! We loved everything here! No wonder their reviews are so good! If we weren’t so full, we would have ordered desserts; they looked so good on the table next to us.The decor was beautiful, mostly white and accent with the Greek blue. The wait staff was friendly. When we left the hostess wasn’t up front, then she ran out to thank us, how sweet!What an excellent dinner experience!“

“My favorite spot in town. The Turkish coffee is rich and flavorful, transporting me back to the cafes of Istanbul. The baklava is divine, and the atmosphere is cozy with its authentic decor. The staff is friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall delightful experience. I highly recommend Baklava Cafe to anyone craving a taste of Turkey in America!“

“Chicken was tender and rich with flavor. Chicken shawarma tastes as grilled chopped chicken not as regular shawarma on the stick with some crunchy part. I like the bread with onion and salsa. The garlic sauce very tasty. The staff was friendly.“

It's truly fantastic.I catered a large order for a 35+ person event I hosted, and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience of working with Mamac or the quality of the food itself. The service was friendly, helpful, and professional at every touchpoint, and I am so grateful for their support in picking the right menu in the appropriate quantities. I was initially pretty nervous, as I had never hosted a large family party before. It was our very first get-together since my mother, the party queen, passed a few years ago; the stakes felt high. Mamac held my hand the entire way and, with his guidance, the day was an incredible success. Everyone gushed about the food for weeks!I could write a lot more about the quality of the food itself, which was superb. I have spent time in Greece and Turkey, and my standards can be a little high. “Great service and dining room. The calamari could have been a little more crisp, but overall it wasn’t tough and tasted good. The special braised short rib raviolis were excellent. Fresh homemade pasta dough and homemade vodka sauce. Would like to get back here and try more “

“This was our first time dining at Barka. We were not disappointed. I easily give it 5/5 stars!! Tony was our server and he was fabulous. He was pleasant and very accommodating with all our requests. The cocktails and wine were great. There were 6 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed our more than substantial apps. The lobster bisque was delicious as were the beet salad, Shephards salad and clams casino. My daughter and DIL shared the Paella for two. It was enough for 4! They loved it. I had grilled lobster which I requested to be removed from the shell and I loved it ! My husband had the delicious Halibut, my son had Ravioli stuffed with lobster and crabmeat and my son in law had the Osso Bucco. We all loved our dinners. This is surely a special occasion restaurant as it is truly fine dining and pricey, but well worth it!! We will be back!!“
