“Stefan the new chef has a wonderful restaurant here with fantastic delicacies to choose from. Standouts are his Tuna sushi on rice cakes with caviar. Amazing. Also the steak frites with truffle fries and the tuna carpaccio...just wow. Stefan also had a delicious tapas served as appetizers a few weeks ago with anchovies and other types of seafood served on toasted baguettes. He is friendly and engaging and a great addition to the Ho-Ho-Kus dining scene. Bought St Eves from the previous owners about 2 years ago. Go and Enjoy!“

“We dined at Robert’s for the first time. We were celebrating a relative’s birthday. The food was outrageous! The appetizers were amazing as were all of the entrees. I had chicken stuffed with mushrooms and I can honestly say that it was the best chicken I have ever eaten. The portions were plentiful. We had a large selection of desserts to choose from at the end of the meal. I chose one particular dessert but before mine came out, I asked if I could exchange it for one that someone in our party had in front of her. No problem. They accommodated me and it was beyond delicious. Also, the staff was very attentive during our whole meal. They could not have been any better. The only negative was the fact that there was also another birthday celebration going on at the same time and it was so noisy that we couldn’t hear each other talk. Despite that, I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this fabulous restaurant.“

“From the moment we walked in, the host greeted us like old friends and walked us right to our table — I instantly had a good feeling, and I was right. Our server was awesome — super friendly, knew the menu inside out, and was on top of everything all night.

The menu is classic Italian but with a twist — way more interesting than your standard North Jersey Italian spot. The ossobuco was fantastic (if I had to nitpick, I’d say the risotto could’ve used a touch less water and a heavier hand with the parm). The clams were fresh and baked to perfection, and my son devoured his ravioli. For dessert, the bread pudding was absolutely unreal — honestly worth the trip alone.

“The mall is always clean and well-maintained, with a great variety of stores to choose from. The staff throughout the mall were friendly and helpful, and parking was convenient. Overall, it’s one of the better shopping destinations in the area. Highly recommend!“

“I have been coming here for years and without fail the quality has never changed. I have brought these pies to parties, work gatherings, and family gatherings and everyone loves them. The spinach pies are tangy and delicious. My kids love the chicken pies. They also sell olive oil, soft drinks, different types of bread and cookies. Once you start going to Ameer’s you can’t stop. Everything is so fresh and authentic.“

“The Dough palace is a wonderful place with rich, sweet treats. Me and my mom went recently and we got the 12 piece truffle tray. My faves were the cookie monster and the fruity Pebble truffles. They also offer treats for your dog and cookie dough birthday cakes. The atmosphere was well decorated and the owner was friendly and nice. Will be coming back soon.“

“Went here with a party of 8 plus our toddler and they were so accommodating. Cory made sure every dish was cooked exactly how we wanted it, kept checking on our table the whole time, cleaned everything up, and was just super kind. The organic seasonal food was really good and the place has such a nice, relaxed vibe next to the Waldorf school. Felt like we were well taken care of the entire visit. Will definitely be back. “Ordered from here for the first time. Got unagi don and the sashimi deluxe. Both came with miso soup. I asked for substitutions in fish and they gave me exactly what I asked for. The sashimi was good for the most part, the salmon was the best part, melted in my mouth and delicious. The other fish were good too. The unagi don was good but a bit too salty, so that was a little disappointing. I haven't tried the miso soup yet.“
