“Scott and his crew at Coffee Matters are second to none! I recently ordered their box lunch for a work event with 70+ people. We have many folks with dietary restrictions, and not only was everyone accommodated, everything as absolutely delicious. There are options galore, and for catered lunches, it’s definitely the best bang for your buck in town. They also deliver to you, making everything a breeze. I couldn’t recommend their services enough!“

“I like the people here. BUT, the management should know you put your best employee on front counter and not a newer employee. The drive thru is a team service. They work together..see things…steady… but in front you have so many different orders and Skip and Door Dash and app orders. I consistently see slower service in the front counter. I don’t know why you would do this because the counter customers are more like to walk out than those in drive thru. I am in here for 30 minutes I see the lines and reluctance of the customers. It is the bottom line..you would make more money with your best employee here“

“Another neat cafe/bakery/eatery in downtown St. John's. Pastries were highly recommended and it's now easy to see why. As with the other coffee places, Rocket Bakery offers a unique atmosphere along with fresh baked items. Only tried during the morning so cannot comment on the lunch items but they're also highly recommended.“

“Love this cafe! It’s a great place to sit and read. I ordered the blueberry chicken grain bowl and a blueberry frappe. They tasted delicious. There’s plenty of seats inside and outside, and there’s a little shelf for you to take or leave books. I love it:)“

“It's a Starbucks, so you know what you're getting. It's good, not great, and rather expensive for a coffee and a snack, but the staff are always friendly, the place is always clean, and although most people there are Apple fanbois, they don't throw you out for using an Android.“

Great ambiance, friendly staff, and the cleanest store in the region. Kudos to all the baristas for always making me feel welcome and serving drinks with love. You can truly feel the genuine connection. It’s a busy store, yet everyone is so accommodating. I’m always satisfied with their service.
Special kudos to Bea, Owen, Karyll, JC, Jhamel, Nicolette, Kathleen, Dane, Julia, Terrence, and Daniel. What a great team. My favourite baristas!

“Been coming to this Tim Hortons in Mount Pearl for years now, and stopped in again just a few days ago for my usual large double double and a breakfast sandwich. The staff behind the counter recognized my order before I even finished saying it, which always gives me a good laugh. Morning rush was busy as ever but the line moved fast and my coffee was hot and fresh, not sitting on a burner all day. If you live around here you already know this spot, but for anyone passing through it is exactly what you want - quick, consistent, and never lets you down.“
“The staff at this location are some of the nicest people on the planet. Ash is the only one I know the name of, but they are just incredible. They are the sweetest ever when working cash and if you get a drink made by them it is your lucky day!! They always taste extra scrumptious. There are two other outstanding members working there I've noticed; frog tattoo guy and super cool hat guy. Unfortunately I haven't caught their names but both are so personable, so hardworking and do an amazing job making drinks! Really love stopping at this location to start my day or to finish a shift because I know the service, drinks and staff will be amazing. The new location is totally accessible, looks really nice and despite being open for a while now still looks super tidy and clean. Bravo Avalon Starbucks team!! ♡“
