“Probably the best meal I’ve ever had! My steak was cooked to perfection and so juicy. My husband’s lobster came out on a sizzling platter and it hit all the senses! We had a few other tastings and everything hit the mark. Great atmosphere, beautiful views, you can’t go wrong. Thank you, to you and your staff for our first meal in Newfoundland an excellent one!”

But the best part of this whole experience is the husband and wife duo that run the restaurant. I have never experienced better service in my life. This place is my new absolute favourite spot! “I went recently for dinner with my girlfriend and we absolutely loved it! Definitely a hidden gem on the island. The atmosphere was perfect for talking but also watching sports. The drink options/specials were great. The highlight of the whole visit had to be our server Manny. He was the definition of perfect service, he was very informative but also funny and conversational, it felt like talking to a long time friend. He made great suggestions for both food and drinks and we loved everything we got. If you plan to go to Kelsey’s I highly recommend asking to be in Manny’s section for a great dining experience.”

Staff was awesome and friendly, while somewhat “saucy” (Joe and Tracy)! 😂 Locals were fun and made me feel like part of the group (Ally, Chris & Jeff, who talks too much)!! Local talent was awesome and can definitely sing and play to keep everyone entertained!! I will be back!!”

“Hands down the best bakery we visited while in St John's. Inside a corner purple house is a man's bakery going on 24 years. In the mornings, he sells hot bread of all kinds and pastries that are perfectly made. My friend and I got a harvest loaf that lasted as a snack throughout the day. The chocolate croissant was excellent- perfect texture and flavor!”

“This lovely little bakery was recommended to us while in St John's for work. We loved stopping in each morning for matcha latte and americano. We also picked up some treats. On my last day, I enjoyed working from the bakery, and picked up some ginger cookies and bagels to bring home to my family. I would love to visit again next time I'm in St. John's!”

“We stayed for 3 nights for our daughter's wedding. Our room was first class with w.c., large bath and large walk-in shower. It was quiet, facing the rear of the building. The front pedestrian way can be a bit noisy with revellers. Spotlessly clean, with aircon and fridge. The restaurant offered a varied evening menu, and the cuisine was superb. Likewise, a good choice for breakfast, and large portions. I had the 2 egg breakfast, and the eggs were cooked precisely to my instructions. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. This was my second visit, and I look forward to my third.”

“My sister and I were there for the first time last Friday and for sure can’t wait to go back again. What a wonderful place for everyone but especially for the sixty’s people. I have so much to say… and all good. We were blown away! St. John’s certainly needed you. We had the fish and chips and we rolled out of there. The portion size was like no other and so fresh and flaky. Like it was just caught from the ocean. The place was so clean and nicely decorated. Our server Mike was a pro. He knew his job and made you feel as though you mattered. Even the owner Terry- Lynn came over to greet us. They are doing well there and I can see why. Everything was great…not a single thing to complain about. Oh and the music…yes…turn it up…it certainly brought us back in time. Thank-you for everything!!!”
