“I've been visiting this restaurant for quite some time. The food is always good but the service has been hit or miss. My server Jayme set a new standard. She did an amazing job of taking care of our party. Her attention to detail and positive attitude is second to none. I'm looking forward to sitting in her section on my next visit!“

“My goodness this place is AMAZING! I use this app all the time, but I do not give reviews very often, But this restaurant needs to be found out. Both of my kids of symptomatic Celiac. The clowndog hotdog parlor has gluten-free corndogs, fried cheese, hotdogs. And everything is homemade. It is so delicious. My kids gotta have corndogs and onion rings for the first time in a restaurant. It was fabulous. The food is so good. Please go out and support this amazing business.Dietary restrictions: Everything they offer there is able to be gluten-free, they have dedicated fryers, and all of their batter is gluten-free to begin with and delicious.Kid-friendliness: This a great place for families. Several families with all ages of kids were .“

“I've now been coming for over 2 years in the mornings. It's nearby and the staff are great. It's become my CHEERS bar. I'm here 3 or 4 times a week. I'm retired and single. Always greeted with such warmth and genuineness. Great draft beer selection (yes they have GUINNESS)). Food is also great. I don't cook much so this place hits the spot BEST bloody Marys (Brianna on Friday/Saturday's are the BEST). Would really like them to have Soup of the Day. The chef's are great and believe a little personal flair (as in a soup) would be a great addition. You won't be disappointed with a visit.“

“We like neighborhood bar and grills that make us feel comfortable. Plus, the food needs to be good. We live close to Effingbar and enjoy going here for a casual meal and beer. The service has always been quick and friendly no matter how crowded it is. A lot of local regulars go here but it's not a "rough crowd" not at all. We go in the afternoon; I can't vouch for the evening clientele. Prices are reasonable. Our favorite meal is the red chile enchiladas. So good. Sometimes we play trivia. Overall, I'd rather eat here than Sobremesa, the expensive brewpub that is nearby. Effingbar seems to have gotten the formula right: good food, good service, friendly/casual atmosphere, reasonable prices.“

“The donut holes were so good, the chocolate cookie skillet tastes like a brownie and the margaritas were good.Wheelchair accessibility: Tall tables were a bit uncomfortable. But we could have requested a booth if we would have known our friend in a wheelchair was joining.“

“Me and my cousin were at the bar Saturday for the lobo game. Rosalia was super nice and attentive! Got drinks right away even though she seemed busy. Always came back to have a little convo and kept us involved. I would definitely come back to the bar to visit Rosalia. She’s a “

“Today is Memorial Day and the staff was shorthanded. They had multiple people call in. With a crew of a cook, a bartender, and a waitress, they busted their butts and did everything that they possibly could to make sure that everybody was taken care of in a timely manner, some were not so patient, others understood. These guys are great, the food is good, Justin is the best manager, he is calm, and he takes care of everything with pride! Thank you for everything guys. We will definitely be back!“

“Really fun.I haven't been to a Dave and Buster's in ten years. The food is better, the games are worse.Food was fine, about what you'd expect from one of the big chains. Burger was good if a little messy, fries were too oily and soggy.Games are much more in the direction of carnival games for tickets than games to actually play. Probably good for kids as they're much more interactive and physical.Staff was exceptional. A manager was walking by as my nephew almost hit his goal, the manager gave him a free play. My wife is breastfeeding, they let her use the private large room to have a quiet place. Very family friendly.Place was incredibly loud. I travel with earplugs for this situations, but would have been unhappy without them. All in all, a great place to have a special outing, especially with pre teens.-- The games can be expensive. We spent ~60-70$ on tokens coming in the door to play games on top of the meal. As of April 2024 you can get gift cards at places like Costco at a discount to help mitigate the expense.Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly. Very loud though.“

“The Bourbon Street chicken and shrimp never disappoints! And I'm not blaming the server but they seem to be seating everyone in her section. She was clearly overwhelmed and couldn't keep up. A drunk guy at the bar kept yelling at another couple across the bar. He finally left and so did I.“

“Holiest is a friendly bar with several TVs to watch sports. The owner puts on a good spread on Saturdays. The only issue we had was the sorry state of the parking lot & the fact the shopping center is very run down. Dirty, trash & cigarette butts everywhere. Howies was clean inside.“

“Staying at the double tree, I ate here instead of going out, and it was pretty sweet. It was a top notch old fashioned, and the breaking bad salad. My server handled business, taking care of me and other people really well. I’m happy I stayed to eat and saved the time.“

“Usually the food is really good here, however today we ordered a garden salad and they gave us the pasta salad not to mention we went to try to take it back and they said we opened it and we did not open it. Then we decided to maybe keep the pasta salad and then we noticed that there was no broccoli in the salad and that's specifically one of the main ingredients for the salad. I asked for artichokes on my pizza and they told me that they couldn't do it anymore since I had already placed my order and I told them that if they were going to not prepare my slice of pizza the way I wanted it that I would just cancel my whole order. So then they ended up adding the artichokes and charging me for them which I do not mind at all. However they ended up just throwing the artichokes on top of my pizza which they were slightly cold they weren't even hooked with the pizza. I ordered the same thing every time and I was very disappointed. There was barely any pesto sauce in the salad and also come on we specifically came to this location because they offered a point program and my mom uses that program and they did not allow her to use it. She's already come a few times in the past few weeks and they keep telling her to come back another day. So my point is what is the purpose of them having a point system that they don't honor? Also the people that work there I ended up asking for a side of broccoli since there wasn't any in my pasta salad and they gave me a half around mccinful with maybe like four pieces of broccoli and the guy that handed it to me said he sorry that they'll get mad at him if he gives me more than that.“

“Albuquerque Airport is a special place…..especially for people-watching! Do you have time to burn waiting to board your flight? Do what I do. Enjoy a draft beer and watch the throngs of ABQ passengers stream by your table. No the people watching isn’t as good as Sea-Tac but the service here is quick and fun and I love it! I confess the food was what we’ve come to expect at a typical airport. But who cares. The beer is cold and the service is pro. James is the man.“

“This is my third update to Alien my Alien review. Who ever the manager /owner is, I'm addressing this to you.Dude seriously, are you trying to lose stars? I have been a loyal patrin here for years now, but what are you doing? First the pandemic, and I know that hurt, and I tried to be understanding. Then when you finally got to reopen you pulled the bacon wrapped dates. I get it, just reopened, money was tight, supply chain issues. But now you pulled everything good from your menu. Tuna, gone, salmon gone, bacon wrapped jalapeños, gone. Come on man, give me a reason to keep coming here. Now having said that, the beer is still great, the staff, I love those guys. But, BUT, management is making bad choices, your hurting your business dude. Please listen.“

“My son and I went there to get a quick bite to eat!! The staff was amazing ( Girls made my son feel special), food was delicious, everything was flawless... one thing was that the drinks weren't the best. They seemed a bit flat. But the staff gave us other drinks instead. Non alcoholic, obviously. (Son is 16)Great job!!“

“We had the grilled chicken breast with broccoli ? and mashed potatoes ?The chicken ? was very dry and needed gravy or some kind of sauce to cut the dryness. The mozzarella sticks were very good. All in all the meal was good and the service was very good.“

“Great place for good food and great kerioke. Our server "angel" was amazing. She was very knowledgeable when it came to the menu and drinks and she was very professional. I will also say that it is very clean and spaced out. I will definitely go back and request angel as our server.“
“Just went to Sandia casinos sport bar up on the 3rd floor. I have to say the place is beautiful and we had an excellent lunch with friends. All the dishes were under $16ea and super delicious. Burgers were smashed style, cooked perfect and that flame grilled flavor. The casino floor was decorated beautifully and great view of the Sandia mountains. So kudos to them.“

“Stopped here while on a road trip across the country and was not disappointed. There was a little bit of a wait due to it being prime time on prom night in the city but we didn't have to wait long. Had several drinks and some etouffee that was absolutely to die for. I highly recommend this or any of their other locations!“
