“This Pelicans has consistently been one of my favorite restaurants in Albuquerque over many many years. But the last time I was there (in April 2024) the service was unfortunately terrible. And that was after making a reservation. The event was my son's birthday. We arrived and they didn't have the reservation, so we waited and waited and waited... while they seated two other parties who arrived after us without reservations. (And we were only had a group of three...) we waited at least 25 or 30 minutes. Then when we got seated, they didn't bring the salad until the food was already on the table. They didn't offer a complementary dessert for the birthday bar boy, and especially considering all the mis-steps. There was no effort made to make up for the service drops... It was a terrible disappointment. Especially from a place that I've learned to expect more from.“

My friend's ribeye, which was supposed to be medium rare was well done. She sent it back. She enjoyed the scallops. Overall great as usual!“

The bartenders were so great, taking care of an elderly gentleman who left his card at the bar. “Sushi Gen was an absolutely wonderful experience. The ambiance was nice and calm, service was quick and the restaurant was super clean. Our server Sven was a badass dude, very attentive and polite. The all you can eat was definitely worth it. I went in so hungry that I could've chewed the crotch off of a ragdoll and left with a 7 month food baby. Sashimi was pretty bomb.“

“Just really disappointed. Cheeseburger was requested medium rare. It came super rare cold in middle I think it was pulled right from package. Steak was perfect medium rare and delicious. First lobster bisque was lukewarm, 2nd was delicious and hot. first garlic mashed potatoes was room temp as well. No idea what 2nd was like I requested not to bring 2nd but they brought it anyways I did not try. Lobster was over cooked, funny that old Red Lobster was better to eat. Seems weird to say. They brought cheesecake in to go box. Why make it worse to open at home with 2 mini drops, one side. No care at all, husband and I just looked at it and laughed thought perfect end to awful meal.“

“Best Mexican restaurant sports bar in NM, they got live famous bands that perform every Thursday-Sunday. They got the best tacos in town that will blow your mind, they have great and fast service and very beautiful and waitresses with great customer service“

There appetizers are especially great, in particular their fired tofo has the best consistency I have ever had they just get it perfectly. They perfect light crunch on the out side and firm warm tofo on the inside, with a sauce that just ties it all together. Their pot stickers and egg rolls are also amazing!

But my all time favorite dish is the simple pad Thai that get with extra chicken and extra eggs is just made to perfection!!

There desserts are also so so yummy the have the best sticky mango rice out of all the restaurants here in town that I have tried (which is quite a few) and there tópico is my moms all time favorite thing besides their crab Rangoon (which I can not vouch for because i don’t like crab).

This is definitely a place worth checking out!!!! and if you do decide to give them a shot ,besides trying what is listed above, enjoy it with the Thai Tea which is another master piece on there end.“

“When we first got there, there was a foul smell right outside the front doors! We were seated, and one of us ordered a martini, of which they were out of. We were also told that the air-conditioning was not working so it was pretty hot in there! One of us ordered green beans of which they were out of. The salad was rusty and the shrimp on the campfire feast was not fresh. The mail was delicious however when we ordered dessert they were out of the one we ordered. I am not sure what is going on. We were really disappointed. Our server was excellent so that made it all a little better.“
