“The Range Cafe in downtown Bernalillo has long been a local favorite on account of a menu featuring hearty diner favorites like country fried steak and gravy, and zesty New Mexican classics like Chile Rellenos and Huevos Rancheros. Most of all, though, it's the genial, welcoming staff: no matter how busy they get, you'll never feel rushed. Stopping in at The Range always feels a little like coming home; the colorful ambience never fails to cheer. This visit, my wife and I started out with Rey's Nachos, a giant, confetti-colored mesa constructed of black beans, tender shredded chicken, crumbled white cheddar cheese and Mexican cojita, with chile con queso, freshly chopped guacamole and pico de gallo, fresh lettuce, chopped tomato, and blue & white corn chips, the whole thing laced with a lightly seasoned smoked chile crema. The best nachos in the universe. For supper she ordered the Country Fried Steak, a Route 66 classic consisting of a succulent breaded fried cutlet smothered in savory cream gravy, served with homemade mashed potatoes (with soft, buttery chunks of potato, which is how you know it's homemade), accompanied by a delicious side dish of yellow squash sautéed with fresh corn and onions. Her only complaint was that there was too much food. I had The Range's signature Plato Combinación del Rancho, which consisted of a blue corn chile relleno, two rolled lean beef blue corn enchiladas, one chicken taco dressed with smoked chile crema; savory pinto beans, twin moats of red and green chile ("Christmas"), the whole thing topped with melted white cheddar, and accompanied by a mouth-watering mound of arroz verde ("green rice"), an aromatic side dish consisting of basmati rice cooked with parsley, cilantro, spinach flakes, olive oil, garlic and scallions. I'll never eat plain rice again. My only complaint is that I couldn't possibly eat all that food. But that's a good problem to have. Two sets of entushiastic thumbs up!“
“I initially arrived a bit after six and was told by the young hostess they weren't seating anyone without a reservation as they were very busy. I asked about bar seating and was told they did not serve in the bar. I went out to my car and was able to secure a reservation for 1 at 7. I returned inside the restaurant around 6:45 and was promptly seated by a lovely server named Avery. Food was worth the aggravation.“

“My husband and I came to Albuquerque to visit family. So we decided to go out to eat. They say let's go to Joe's pasta house. So glad we did when you come up. They have a waterfall with coy fish in it. The atmosphere is real authentic. The people were very polite and kind. Our waitress Ashley, I think please forgive me if her name is wrong ? and the general manager Andrea Hall couldn't have been the kindest people the manager and I we clicked and gave out hugs on the way out If you ever in Albuquerque and I you love Italian, give them a try.? I had the chicken Alfredo pasta. (Yummy) My husband had the lasagna. My mother-in-law had the pork chops. My sister-in-law had the Alfredo sauce with chili. Her grandson had spaghetti her daughter had chicken Alfredo, also with green chili and her husband Lasagna. The daughter and husband also had dessert at the end. He had apple pie.I forgot what she had but everything was delicious. So enjoy the mouth-watering pictures? Pssstttt... If you're ever in town, tell Ms Hall that Mrs. Allen sent you? Ps. Both the general manager and our waitress are in the pictures “

“I finally decided to give small cakes another try today after 5 years and I do not regret it. Call it fate if you will, but I peeked in the window and was met by a smiling employee. He was an absolute sweet heart! I didn’t get his name, but I ended up buying a cake and a Valentine’s Day box of cupcakes. I hadn’t been in for years due to a bad interaction with a former employee there. That being said, he absolutely restored my faith in the company and I’ll be coming here for my sweet treats from here on out! Thank you, amazing person! I’ll not forget your kindness!!“

“LOVE THIS location of Jason's Deli on HOLLY! TYLER does a great job! All the workers are SO friendly, helpful. Shout out to America who's such a servant & always has a smile! I won't go to another location. The service & fresh food just isn't the same. Not to mention the GREAT, chill environment here. So many options to choose from as far as food! I'm there almost every week!*Suggestion* I had someone with me that asked if there was Gluten free option. They had soup instead of sandwich since no Gluten free bread.“

“Date day for the letter P was pizzeria Luca. Glad we went early to eat at this restaurant. By 4pm there was now a wait. We had an extra member to our party this week, my youngest grandson, who is staying with us this weekend. We started out with the toasted ravioli which came out hot and crispy. It was seasoned well and tasted amazing. It was two thumbs up from my grandson. I ordered the eggplant Parmesan. The only thing personally I would have liked is a little more marinara but that is how I like mine. Other than that the flavors were amazing. My husband got the chile chicken Alfredo lasagna. The chile was not spicy but gave the dish a great flavor. The vegetables on the side were firm and not mushy which was great because I always hated mushy ones. My grandson got the spaghetti and meatballs and his portion was huge. We have leftover for another meal. We will definetly be back.“

“This is a nice Dairy Queen in town with all of your ice cream options but excluding most of the tradition hot meals that a typical DQ offers. Overall is clean and tidy on the inside. Tables are kept clean in between customers. Service is speedy.“

“I'm always on the hunt for good Gluten Free pancakes, and my friends, who live locally, brought me here, for lunch. I had the Gluten Not Flapjacks, with rice flour, millet, flax, pumpkin and sunflower seeds, topped with almonds and cranberries. They were delicious, with great texture. The service is very attentive, very friendly and they also had gluten free blueberry scones - bonus!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free“

“Excellent location in Uptown. Parking can be a challenge. Very clean atmosphere. A few tables to sit down and enjoy your donuts and coffee. I was greeted by who I think was the owner who quickly took my order. I always judge a donut's quality by ordering a plain, cake donut and this one met my expectations. Large, crispy yet fluffy and tasty. Nothing to confuse my pallet. I also ordered a large mocha coffee. Loved the paper cup it was served in! I took mine with 2% milk. Another excellent choice! Reasonably priced. Go ahead and stop by sometime soon.“
