“Nothing fancy, but the best taqueria in Northern NM! The Northern NM style tacos are incredible! Super tender meat and very flavorful potatoes are exactly what we grew up with in Northern NM, but so hard to find these days. True old school inexpensive New Mexican food“
“I drive up not knowing what I wanted to eat. The man suggested the quesabirria tacos. I'm glad I ordered them. They are freaking delicious!!
Pictured with 3 tacos but it comes with 4. Highly recommend! They reheat well and hold together. A good choice to take home and eat comfortably. just don't tip the box!! You'll spill all the cónsume/jugo.“

“We are so glad we stopped here in our road trip to Angel Fire. I have eaten tacos all over Mexico and let me tell you, these tacos are hands down the best I have ever had! Authentic, high quality ingredients, so fresh and full of flavor. I wish I lived here, I would be a frequent customer. So goooood!!!!!! The owners are adorable too!“

“We stopped to eat before continuing our journey to Taos, and it was by far the most flavorful food I’ve had.
We ordered the soft tacos plate along with an enchilada filled with asada and barbacoa. Everything tasted amazing, with authentic Latin flavors in every bite, from the rice to the meats. It’s definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.“

“La Fonda del Sol catered my father’s memorial service last weekend; the food was delicious and the service fantastic. We had the green chili enchiladas and taquiza with beans and rice. We highly recommend La Fonda del Sol’s food and service for events.“

“Best Mexican food in Point! Generous portions at a fair price. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. The tacos were loaded and delicious. Also, the avocado sauce hits just right. Staff are super friendly.“

“Everything is clean and was perfect except they forgot the guac and sour cream and put white rice instead of Spanish rice even though they asked if I wanted Spanish rice. However, I have never had a grilled chicken burrito that wasn't super, as a refugee from Kommiefornia, but was still really good. It's my bad for ordering at the last minute over the phone and not checking when I picked it up. The lost stars were more than made up with the flavor and the cantaloupe agua fresca was everything a bachelor could ask for! Because it doesn't come with chips and salsa I ordered chips and they made fresh pico for me because they didn't have salsa. Well worth the 20+tip. Amazing quality and good value. Thanks“

“The food was amazing! We went here specifically because I love Indian Tacos and other local restaurants -like Viola’s in Los Alamos- only make them on certain days. I’m so glad the Indian Tacos brought us in. They were the BEST. The salsa is not white girl friendly 🥵 (hot hot hot) but it is flavorful and fresh. If you’re traveling through, like us, this stop is truly worth planning your drive around. Thank you Jesus for providing great food and fast service.“

“Meeting Natalia at the front made our experience super fantastic!! She's friendly, personable and knows her menu! What a joy to speak with her and learn, very helpful. Having someone like her to greet and serve truly made our stay at Marisco’s special. Thank you for having her! God Bless you all. “We ordered two hamburgers. They were good but not as good as I was expecting. They were a bit pricey for the size. Cash only was disappointing, but luckily I found some cash in my purse. The gentleman who took our order was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful.“

“my experience today was just awful. waitress was nice and prompt, atmosphere nice.. cook was overheard by my family and I while we were eating when waitress asked for our order of fries that we had orded with the rest of order and cook responded that the fries were not on the ticket , which they were, and we heard him say 'me vale madre' !!!.. dang .. also mentioned the rude comment to Joann herself, she said she would talk to the cook about it later..“

“We stopped in for breakfast and SUPER glad we did! Little hole in the wall that makes DELICIOUS red and green chili to go over your eggs, potatoes and refried beans. Huge yummy flour tortillas. \nReasonable prices. Nice gentleman took our order and then cooked it. Owner?\nYou place your order at register and then go grab it from the window-like I said hole in the wall and well worth the stop.“
