“The Huevos Rancheros and Chile Relleno were some of the best we’ve ever eaten! We enjoy traveling New Mexico for the unique style of flavors of Mexican food only found in this state! The red and green sauces were the authentic deep flavors and the salsa is zappy but flavorful. Our waitress, Leslie encouraged us to try the Calabacitas and tasty whole Borracho Beans? Both were beyond any we’ve eaten previously. Leslie gave us excellent service and was very friendly. The ambience is dated authentic adobe with bright colors and mural paintings. We highly recommend La Nuevo Casita Cafe!“

“We stopped here on our way out of Las Cruces heading home to Denver. Small, quaint, and so welcoming. The food was amazing. The breakfast enchiladas were so good. I had mine Christmas. The red chile had a nice spice and the green was so flavorful. The cinnamon pecan coffee was very good. Also, our server, Rachel was friendly, informative, and oh so nice. We definitely recommend this place. 5 stars.“

“Very Disappointed – While the food was decent, the experience was ruined by overhearing staff refer to me as “it” and then say, “oh my god, it’s a grandma.” Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful each time we go. Management either participates or is oblivious.“

“First time being here and we loved it. Good portion of tostadas and salsas. Although, I didn’t like the green one as I’m not a big fan of tomatillos but the “avocado” salsa (not sure if it’s made with avocado or not) was wonderful. I ordered 2 asada, 1 barbacoa and 1 tripitas tacos. I like that you can order a variety of tacos in the order. My husband loved his tripitas tacos too and he said the limonada was excellent. Service was excellent and our server was very polite. We really hope this local restaurant keeps going because it can potentially become one of our favorites. I want to go back to try the lengua tacos since they were all out today. Highly recommend it!!!! 👍🏽“

“This business is ran by an older couple that cook everything themselves. Authentic mexican food. Amazing service since food comes out pretty fast. Prices are some of the lowest i have seen in las cruces. 1000% recommend this restaurant. I feel right at home.“

“Possibly one of the best chile rellenos I’ve ever had. The monster margarita was $13 and well worth it however, when I originally asked her how much it was, she quoted me $10. Great service and I had an awesome server. I thought the refried beans had an odd texture to it though. I was sitting in the bar area. I’ve never heard of a restaurant charging you $1 for a side of flour tortillas The dining area lights were a little harsh. Also, if you pay with a credit card you get charged a little bit more. I know I’m splitting hairs here. I would give it an 8.5.“

“What we ordered Order of flautas Carne asada tacos Tacos Al pastor Hamburger special Lemonada All of it 10/10 It is SO HARD to find good “street food” here in Las cruces, and trust me, we have tried it all. But this place tops it. We were not disappointed in one thing we bought. We purposefully bought 4 different items to get a taste of several different things and it’s ALL GONE.
