“Excellent Burrito, freshly prepared and delicious. I, in particular enjoyed the tortilla which was light and different than the regular flour tortillas. Most definitely shall return.“

“Loved this casual eatery in Los Alamos. You order at the counter up front, and then they bring your food to your table. The sopaipillas were our favorite on this trip…instead of being hollow, they’re more like fry bread, thick and fluffy and light. Delicious! I had the fry bread taco, and it was very nice with green and red chile. We would definitely stop here again next time we pass by.
Vegetarian options: Like most New Mexican joints, they are very friendly with their red and green sauce, and they know which beans and posole you can eat. My vegetarian hubby was happy and had more options here than typical.“

“My daughter chef Kira Tsoodle will soon graduate from the culinary Institute of America in New York. She is one of the main chefs here at Wolf and mermaid. She put together this evening menu and I couldn’t be any prouder. I got to give her credit. She is an amazing employee and goes over and beyond. Your menu is amazing Kira and I enjoyed every bit of it. Can’t wait to go back. #proudmom #cia #navajo #ponca #kiowa #persian #chefkiratsoodle“

“El Parasol is not a fancy place, but it is DELICIOUS! The tamales are wonderful, the shredded beef tacos are incredible. The green chile stew is fantastic, try a breakfast burrito, delicious and Christmas is the best way to order your chile! Arroz con pollo with a Mexican coke is a great way to go! I could go on! Get the green salsa, guac, and chips, you won't be disappointed! It is the best!“

“I just stopped in to see the new place. It is beautiful inside, so bright and cheerful. I'm a die hard starbucks girl, and didn't expect much, but I was wrong. First they have 3 options for sugar free syrups, which made me very happy. Secondly, the coffee was amazing. I will be back when I visit Los Alamos.“

“Best breakfast burritos of the Southwest! Lots of chili, perfect ratio of potatoes and eggs and the meat is always perfectly cooked and flavorful. These burritos are always a hit if you want to provide food for movers and construction workers too.“

“We were visiting Los Alamos and in need of lunch. We were welcomed by patient and friendly staff and wonderful service. The bagel with cream cheese was out of this world. My wife had chicken salad and soup which was very good. We also had a wonderful discussion with the assistant manager about the area. A delightful lunch! I highly recommend this place and wish they’d open a location in our home town! Five Stars!“
