“Loved this casual eatery in Los Alamos. You order at the counter up front, and then they bring your food to your table. The sopaipillas were our favorite on this trip…instead of being hollow, they’re more like fry bread, thick and fluffy and light. Delicious! I had the fry bread taco, and it was very nice with green and red chile. We would definitely stop here again next time we pass by.

Vegetarian options: Like most New Mexican joints, they are very friendly with their red and green sauce, and they know which beans and posole you can eat. My vegetarian hubby was happy and had more options here than typical.“

“Their food is always good, but Monday specials are my favorite. They have good green chile stew, carne adovada, and burgers. For catering the enchiladas are delicious! Breakfast burritos are great and don't send you to the bathroom, but there's no hash browns in these.“

“Friendly staff, nice buffet with a decent (not great) variety of options for lunch. I'm a bit picky about Chinese food since I grew up in Taiwan, and this is highly Americanized with SO MUCH sweetness in every dish. Even the black pepper chicken is SUPER sweet, which is very weird to me (despite that, it was actually really good, though!) Buffet and a drink ran me around $25 after tax and tip, so be warned it's not cheap. Hard to beat the speed of buffet when you're on a short lunch break, though!“
