“We have been dining at Prairie Star for many years, even driving there from Santa Fe before we moved to Bernalillo in 2013. We have never been disappointed in their food or service all these years but I think they are now at an all time high in both issues with their new chef. We dined there in June for my husband's birthday and again in July for our anniversary and Saturday we brought some friends visiting from Colorado and they were more than delighted. The consistency of the visits are what what we are most impressed with. All the servers have been outstanding (sorry I can't remember all their names) but Ronda was our latest server and she was outstanding. John and Jean Luther”

“Food was sooo good. The only negative thing I would point out is that they seated us at a four person table, we had 5 ppl. So my Tia had to sit on the corner with her food. They had however asked before we were seated if we wanted a bigger table or a smaller table so ig that was kind of our fault. But I wouldn’t seat ppl like that, that’s uncomfortable. After we commented on the seating tho, they offered to move us to a bigger table so all was well.”

“This place is normally pretty good and it’s the best boba place I’ve had so far, but they forgot something in my drink. I ordered the lychee green tea with boba and mango stars, I got the boba and lychee pieces that the drink already came with, but none of the mango. It was kind of annoying because I wanted to try it with the mango specifically, but oh well. I get if you didn’t have any, but you could have edited the website to say that so I wouldn’t waste money on nothing”

“They take wonderful care of the cats and provide such a warm and safe environment for them while they wait to be adopted. Very clean place- very welcoming. :)”

“We had to have a quick lunch and drove by here, and said give it a try. SO happy we did it. Quick, quick service and they were slammed that day. I got one of the specials with prosciutto which I thought wod be super thin so I asked for more and it was intense but really good. Fresh made, quickly, tasty and presentable. Will be coming back here often.”

“great food but better service. was there during the balloon fiesta and had the best customer service in my entire life. they comped my food because i was feeling a little ill from altitude sickness. the waiter, manager and server all checked on me. they said because i did not enjoy my food (again not their fault)that i should not be charged, because in their words the food did not live up to the expectations of the restaurant. i will not hesitate in trying it again the next time i am in albuquerque. awesome restraunt , if you are in the area give it a try .”

“My husband, kids, and I love coming here! Tacos de tripa, quesicarne con asada, and the breakfast burritos are our favorites! Our ten year old is the absolute pickiest eater and he lives the steak quesadillas here, he craves them!”

“My wife and I are here 3 times during our stay, once with the buffet and twice with the à la carte menu. The clear option, especially if you are a Hyatt globalist is the à la carte menu. The buffet isn’t bad, just the food is much better on the à la carte menu. The blue corn pancakes are unique and exceptional. The breakfast sandwich and green chili (on anything), is pretty good (just not as hot as I like my chili but good flavor nonetheless). Would recommend eating here for breakfast. Only negative is that the wait staff can be a bit slow and inconsistent each day, but we came on Labor Day weekend (which is one of their busiest times of year), so I have sympathy for them (you may not lol).”

“I been driving by and decided I need to stop and grab a lunch. I had the soft chicken taco plate. Got chips, salsa and an extra sopapilla. Everything was delicious. Meal size for was perfect for lunch. Real honey. Glad a new place I can stop by and get a good meal. Will be back”
