“Visiting from out of town, we parked just a few feet away and stumbled on Manzanita without knowing about the place.
We had a couple of cortados and juevos rancheros. The coffee was sublime, my GF is Cuban, and couldn't believe it was better than hers. The juevos come in a very nice shallow bowl with just the right amount of chili, beans, and potatoes.
The decor is carefully curated but not exaggerated.
Good job guys, great experience.“

“We tried 3 items on the menu for lunch, Mussels in a thick broth, Paella with seafood and sausage and beans - all 3 were excellent and rich in flavor and depth. The wine list was minimal unfortunately, but the house red worked and palatable, the red sangria was very pleasant and a nice presentation. Parking is available and service was delightful. Another “out of the blue” winner and well worth the visit. BTW: it was lovely to see the place was dog friendly and all the dogs were very well behaved. You will not be disappointed.“

“Delicious breakfast! Had the breakfast burrito smothered in green chile, and it hit the spot! So filling, did not have to eat again until dinner. Excellent place, with fast, friendly service.“

“Loooove these guys and their ever evolving food projects. There is so much care and passion in what they do and you can TASTE it in the food. Delicious. Must stop. The Bronx sandwich was mouthwatering and delectable, as were the cheesey grits my mom and i shared. Really cool vibe with hand selected goods from all over the world. Whether you’re looking for ingredients to jazz up a meal or you want something incredibly tasty, this place is so worth a stop!!“

“The wife and husband that own and operate the bakery are so sweet and warm. The hot chai is exceptional and the wife told us it is a special recipe the husband made for her. We enjoyed buttery and flakey chocolate croissants, citrus raisin cardamom scones, and red curry, all of which were perfectly balanced and easy, light eating that didn’t leave us feeling sluggish the way some breakfast foods do. 10/10 experience, support this local business!
Vegetarian options: The red curry was incredible and perfectly spiced.“

“I really didn't think we could find good sushi in Taos. We are sushi snobs and won't eat anything just because it's rolled up in rice. The fish was very fresh when we ate. The owner took a round of all of the tables and was very friendly. Service was great. 100% recommend.“

“This was my first time at Bent Street Grill. My wife and I stopped in Taos Historic District for lunch as we were passing through Taos and saw this place. It looked good, so we tried it, and we were so happy we did. The food was great. Everything was fresh and I believe home made (including the croissant my sandwich was in). The menu even included a number of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. We saw a lot of food come from the kitchen and it all looked delicious. We met the chef owner while we were there and he was super friendly as well. There was a bit of a line to get in, but that was ok; it’s a good sign the restaurant is good. We will definitely be back during our next visit to Taos. I’d recommend this restaurant to everyone.“

“Super friendly service, hard workers; clean; indoor and outdoor seating. Great craft beer selection. Food outstanding. We had the 'smokey' and one with tater toys and a friend egg and 'ski sauce'. Both so yummy. Delicious onion rings that weren't all batter and I appreciated that I could get a salad as my side. It was a great salad-- the dressing was a little different. Highly recommend.“

“ALWAYS enjoy our visits/meals! However, it is one of the few local restaurants we take out of town guests because the prices are extremely high for some of the food items. $16 for 1 chili relleno is a bit much! Wait staff is ALWAYS pleasant, attentive and helpful!“

“The food and drinks were AMAZING!! We went here for our 30th anniversary. I had the Bison Tender Loin which was flavored and cooked to perfection and the carrot puree and broccolini were perfect compliments. The wife had King Salmon and it too was seasoned and cooked to perfection. We started with the Jumbo lump crab cake and was leery about the pimento cheese but after trying it it too as excellent! Wish I knew the Maitre D name but he was very accommodating and helpful. P.S. Make reservations for the dining room even on a Monday!!! The ambiance was phenomenal dining with the apple trees made for a perfect anniversary dinner. If ever in Taos this is a must on your bucket list and I know we will be back.“
