“The vibes are FANTASTIC! The service was top notch and the Barista killed it! I watched people come in and leave happy. I’m a black coffee girl and it was perfection, I ended my visit with the cold brew coffee and it was the BEST. They have a great selection of donuts and muffins, but come early because they run out fast. I tried a breakfast burrito and it was filling and tasty. The menu is simple and easy to read. Plenty of options to charge your electronics, and sit down to read, or you can sit at their patio under an umbrella. I will for be back before I leave and we come back to Red River every summer, so I will be making this my spot.”

“Best egg salad sandwich I've had! Potato salad was also delicious. Friendly service. Lots of fun merch for shopping. Bearly Awake is a continual favorite while in Red River.”

“My husband and I are from Amarillo, Texas. We stayed in Red River, 3 days. 3 days breakfast, 3 days lunch. They are only open from 7am til 2pm right now! We made it a point to be back on time to eat! lol. Great food, reasonable prices, very friendly staff. 2 egg breakfast with bacon or sausage, English Muffins, Chopped brisket BBQ sandwich, Hamburgers and fries, oh did I mention keep your cup! “Our group highly recommends the guided UTV tour! Our guide Michael was not only knowledgeable but so friendly. He was very respectful and helpful to our mixed age group of ladies ranging from 40s to 70s.”

“At over 10k feet up the mountain, this was a great spot with an even greater view. It took 35 minutes to order food because of the line. There is only one register, so beware of that. Food came out in less than 10 minutes once you were able to order it. The chicken strips and burger were delicious! There is also a bar outside for those who like to partake and bathrooms for obvious reasons.”

“It's been several trips to Red River since I've eaten at Sundance. From now on it will be in our routine for every trip. Food was great! ( quantity was such I took a "to go box"for lunch today). Prices were home town pricing and not resort. Staff was friendly and attentive. Our server was Celi. She was busy but attentive to us . Great smile btw! We saw lots of locals eating there the night we did. That speaks volumes.”

“My husband, son and I ate at Madam’s for the first time on July 6th. My son and husband ordered the oysters on the half shell (6) as an appetizer. But after dinner, they ordered another 6 oysters for “dessert” because they were so delicious and fresh! In addition, our meals were delicious; and we loved the classic “movie theater” environment; where they played the musical movie, “Grease” on the screen in the background. We’ve been coming to Red River for many, many years, and had no idea that this cute town even had a movie theater at one time! Met one of the owners at Oktoberfest last year, and found out that he’s a fellow Kansan…so we were excited to give this restaurant a try! If you’re visiting Red River, this restaurant is worth your time! You won’t be disappointed!”

“I absolutely loved coming here for dinner. I had what I would call an upgraded Philly Cheesesteak that had a wonderful dipping sauce. The motzzerla sticks were awesome and crunchy exterior the way we love them. My son devoured the Mac n cheese. My husband loved his dish. I honestly was so focused on my food I don't know what he got. lol 🤣 whatever it was it was gone. Thanks Capos 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼”

“Cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. We ate there last night and had the most enjoyable evening. We have eaten in many places in Taos and each has their own unique characteristics. Der Garten takes top spot though. Everything served under the watchful eye of executive chef Asia. The food was delicious and the love and care put into the creations very evident. Service was relaxed and amiable without being intrusive and atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Christof and Asia - thank you for such a wonderful and authentic experience!”

“The Vegan Tortilla soup was delicious, but I got less than my husband did of a meaty stew, for $1 less. Neither soup was very hot, either. Service was good, but it took 15 minutes to get our soup.”

“An off night for 192. They apparently were short of staff; we were seated at our favorite table promptly but no one had been assigned to that table. We waited 15 minutes before someone finally took notice that we were being ignored. The menu was not as robust and enticing as last summer, and for desert the only offerings were scoops of vanilla gelato or sorbet. Perhaps management was waiting to introduce the new summer menu beginning with the long July 4 holiday, but last night's experience was several notches below what we had become accustomed to last summer and winter.”
