“We ordered from here on Monday for the first time and it was Soo amazing. There was a slight mix up with our order but the Owner fixed it with no issues. The staff was very kind and helpful to any questions.Tuesday night we again ordered- the egg rolls were to die for they are nice hot and Fresh and the Teriyaki chicken was delicious. “Sakura Sushi also serves Thai and Lao dishes! Papaya salad, pho, Pad Thai, Lao sausage, and many more are on their menu. You must try it out. Sushi rolls are outstanding.“

“This place is amazing. The sushi chef is an artist. His work is beautiful, and tastes great. This is by far the best sushi I have ever tasted. When I first tried them he was using purple sweet potatoes, so some of his sushi was purple. It was beautiful and tastes so good. He was also using fruit. Which was visually pleasing and also gave a unique flavor. I really wish he would continue to make sushi his way. But even if he doesn't it is still the best I have ever had. Anywhere else I have been I have had to cover my sushi in feel sauce. Not here, it is so good on it's own. All I can say is YUMM!!!.“

“The sushi roll and 25 piece sashimi were both really good. Fish tasted fresh and the sashimi pieces were generous and had nice textures. They served the sashimi platter with fresh wasabi which was a delicious surprise.

Staff was nice enough, but they really never came back to check on us or refill our water. I had to flag down another server to get more ginger. We were sitting at the sushi bar, so maybe that’s a part of it since our backs are turned.“

“I literally said "Wow!" when I opened up my boxes. I only ordered two rolls and gyoza so I was surprised to get 3 heavy takeout containers. Each roll is massive; I can usually eat two rolls for lunch but after 4 pieces I was so full. The sushi was beautifully presented and incredibly delicious! You can tell there is a lot of care and attention put into each piece. Pictures are the Spicy Citrus Roll and the Shrimp Tempura roll. The gyoza was crispy and light and so good as well.Absolutely wonderful place, and a very friendly couple cooking everything! Absolutely check them out when you're in this mall.“

“If you’re looking for back to back boats of sushi this is the place! There’s no way you’re not leaving completely stuffed. For some reason, there’s always a video of the ocean being played. That’s pretty cool. Also, they have a bunch of Christmas decorations, which I don’t mind year round! sure, there’s some better options out there for fine dining, sushi , but this is a cheap good quality meal. Also, there’s always plenty of parking and wheelchair accessibility!“

“Hiro Sushi definitely hit the spot on a Saturday afternoon. Yes, some say it’s expensive but I feel the cost is just right. I ordered the Dragon roll. Super good, the eel on top is grilled and had a good bbq taste to it. Made the dragon roll come together with great flavor. Paired with a beer. Definitely will be a returning customer.“

“The meal we had there greatly exceeded our expectations! So much so that even though our server did not clearly explain the difference between "a-la cart" & "all-you-can-eat"... we just paid the bill we were given, & called it good with a 20% tip. Might have saved money with price per item but we enjoyed the meal too much to care!“

“The place was clean, but the decor and atmosphere feels like a hole in the wall restaurant. It’s pretty simple and the dining area is small. However, the service was wonderful and waiter was attentive. The sushi presentation was beautiful and menu variety is great. One item I got was the sushi dinner bento box ($22) which came with 8 nigiris (salmon, yellowtail, and tuna). The other one was the King Dragon Roll ($17.25). Both were delicious and seasoned well. The total came out to almost $50 with tip for 2 people. Which is kind of a lot compared to other places I’ve been in abq, but it’s worth a try if you’ve never been before.“

“The food is absolutely delicious and can’t get enough of it! The waiter and chef were both friendly and coordinated together to get our food out in a timely manner. The chefs are all funny too. We had to wait a few minutes as one waiter was new and in training but other than that, it was an amazing experience that we always save for special occasions or date night!“
