“We have been dining at Prairie Star for many years, even driving there from Santa Fe before we moved to Bernalillo in 2013. We have never been disappointed in their food or service all these years but I think they are now at an all time high in both issues with their new chef. We dined there in June for my husband's birthday and again in July for our anniversary and Saturday we brought some friends visiting from Colorado and they were more than delighted. The consistency of the visits are what what we are most impressed with. All the servers have been outstanding (sorry I can't remember all their names) but Ronda was our latest server and she was outstanding. John and Jean Luther”

“The variety of options for Sat/Sunday brunch are quite nice! Very tasty, nice presentation and great service. We sat on the patio n for a bit and then inside. Great views outside and nice ambience inside. I was last here 15 years ago and the property is well maintained and a beautiful blend of New Mexican with some modern touches. Great blend of traditional and new. We will return sooner than 15 years!”

“We were here several nights in a row during a work event, it was definitely the popular spot amongst my colleagues. I did not try any of their food, but they had an OK beer selection for a hotel bar, and the overall atmosphere was really nice. The outside space with multiple fire pits was really awesome too, gave us some options.”

“Excellent food value and price. My daughter and I ordered the “. Chicken schwarma for two. 21.95 it came with tdziki , Mediterranean salad, hummus, 3pita bread ?, feta, tahini. Plenty of leftovers for two more meals. Tried walnut and pistachio baklava dangerously :) incredible. The server was not good but we so happy with the food we gave her a 30% tip then she smiled. There was a man who was helping the family out due to labr shortage.”

“My family and I have been here several times, and we either order the Gyro platter, or Shwarma. I recommend ordering the Shwarma and the Gyro which makes a great lunch the next day. The hummus and pita are also very good. The secret to this place is in their Garlic Sauce. Try ordering the Gyro and substitute the traditional cucumber Taziki sauce with the Garlic. You will not be disappointed.”
