“The Coffee Apothecary in Taos sits on Paseo del Pueblo Sur, a small place, unpretentious, with Eiffel chairs and a clean, bright air. The beans, roasted in-house, carry the high desert’s truth—ethically sourced, full-bodied, smooth as the Rio Grande’s flow. You order a mocha, sweet and soothing, or an espresso, sharp and true, and it comes with a quiet care, the baristas moving like they know the weight of a good cup. The vibe is Taos itself—old meeting new, a warm nook where locals and wanderers sit, talk, or think in silence. Pastries, baked by Pablo Flores’ mother, are simple, honest, and good. You sip, you stay, you feel the community’s pulse. Five stars, for it is a place that does not compromise, and you leave better than you came.“
“Lovely little shop. Coffee was delicious. We enjoyed sitting outside in the shade next to a sweet spring garden.“

“Big mistake for a big group! We were told it would be a wait and menus state $1 charge for split tickets. We had 15 people and after eating the server told us they could not split the ticket for groups this large (a secret rule). Knowledge of this would have been useful prior to seating. French toast and all food was amazing. Service, less so. I wish Michael’s was open.“

“Beautiful and friendly people working there, husband and little ones were with me right before dropping me off at work, best coffee ever, the kids loved there perfect strawberry/vanilla steamers. Thank you for being there World Cup... Started my day off awesome.“
“Very welcoming! Fantastic works of art and fun and interesting memorabilia. Very convenient being right on the plaza. Kudos to the man at the front desk who checked us in on Saturday 10/15/22- was very personable and a treasure-load of history and information about Hotel La Fonda! Clean, comfortable room too!“
“Top choice! Organic Fruits, Veggies, and Fresh Juice! Amazing high quality food! Not to mention live music! The staff are as sweet as can be and the crowd is equally wholesome. The market corner and outdoor seating are some of my favorite features. They're on a noble mission to feed children farm-to-table meals at school through their non-profit! Supporting them feels as good as I do after a delicious juice and meal. The establishment is gorgeous, hardwood with large windows, and well maintained. Such an improvement. I can't recommend them enough!“
“I love the white chocolate mocha with oatmilk. My daughter, with food allergies limiting her options, is usually able to find drinks (teas) and sometimes snacks. My other kid orders the caramel macchiato (I have no idea how to spell that) with soy milk.Starbucks is usually pretty good about meeting the needs of people with lactose intolerance by offering soy, almond, oat or other milk alternatives.“
“The Starbucks in Taos, N.M. is located inside the Albertson's Grocery Store, immediately to the left as you walk into the store's south entrance. This Starbucks has a decent size space of its own, despite the fact it's inside the Albertson's grocery store. This Starbucks has five or six tables for its guests and the employees of this Starbucks keep their coffee shop clean and organized. The employees make delicious Starbucks Coffee in all the same varieties as any other place, including the Mocha Coffee, my personal favorite. The Taos Starbucks actually has a nice, comfortable ambience, for being inside a much larger store. They also prepare and serve the delicious, quality breakfast and lunch sandwiches. So next time you're in Taos and you need a Great cup of Wake Up, stop by the Albertson's Grocery Store at the Cruz Alta Shopping Center and enter through the store's south entrance; once you're inside the store, turn to the left and you will see Starbuck's. What kind of Starbuck's Coffee and food you order is up to you; the good thing is, You Will Like It--maybe even Love It!!!
Kid-friendliness: You see folks in the Taos Starbucks who are young and old and middle aged. This includes families, Moms and Dads and the kids, so yes, it's a nice place for the entire family.“

“What a special gem just off the Taos plaza! We bought several bars that we loved, but most of all the mousse bar was our favorite! We came back every day of our visit to get a new flavor. The servings are small, but they are so rich and flavorful, you're more than satisfied. Just delicious.“
