“Grabbed dinner with a few friends at Suda Table last Friday evening and honestly it exceeded every expectation we had. The vibe inside was warm and relaxed, exactly the kind of spot where you lose track of time without meaning to. We ordered the Thai green curry and it was genuinely one of the best versions I've had in Halifax, deeply fragrant with just the right amount of heat. Our server was attentive without being overbearing and made some great recommendations when we were on the fence about what to order.“

“Going in I did not realize they were plant based, I got a latte with oatmilk (Ive had some really bad oat milk lattes before so I wasnt expecting much). If I didnt like it I was just going to give it to my brother who is vegetarian so I knew he'd like it.

The oatmilk latte was the best I've ever gotten. If I could get my latte here everyday I would switch over to oatmilk permanently! Give it a go!“

“Nice staff, atmosphere is cheery and laid back. Wondering if all of the people on their laptops have been encouraged to move along after a reasonable time? Seems like they use it as a workspace/library, which leaves very little seating for regular customers. If I could suggest anything, it would be to use that clean linen company that picks up, cleans, and returns your floor mats, fresh and clean. The floor mats are very dirty and is a turn off.“

“We had the pleasure of eating at Bird’s Nest today, Chicken Club Sandwiches (and we have our usual cup of coffee everyday there too) The food is outstanding, based on fresh seasonal ingredients clearly put together by a chef that has a true passion for food! The service was fantastic as always, and their staff is so friendly, and they know our usual orders by now. “I just arrived in Halifax P.S my first time here and I'm liking it!
The place has a Spanish atmosphere and music, and the staff were really welcoming and friendly. There are books to read, a comfy couch to sit on with friends! It's not as expensive as I thought, I bought hot chocolate and it cost me $2.25!

Perfect coffee, friendly and professional staff, delicious pastries (my husband said it was the best croissant he’s had outside of Montreal!). “One of the best hidden gems in Halifax. They pour espresso stronger than most coffee shops in the city and have extremely friendly baristas. Also great supply of tasty protein bars, cold coffee drinks and electrolytes. Worth the short side street walk off Agricola.“

My favorite item is their breakfast pita, which has scrambled egg, bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and can add cheese. It's perfect for an easy breakfast that will hold you over til lunch. Sometimes I grab an afternoon snack here, which may be a Nanaimo bar, peanut butter cookie, etc. I haven't tried their pizza slices yet, but heard they are decent! Our family thoroughly enjoyed the creamy oat milk lattes and colourful lemonades and we found ourselves retuning to the Cafe every day of our vacation. We had the opportunity to meet Lara, the owner, and it was immediately clear why this Cafe is so tastefully decorated, why the atmosphere is so enjoyable and the menu so very delectable.
