Preserving Traditions is our go to spot for special treats for our beloved mom. Everything we have ever purchased has brought my mom back to good old fashion recipes that make her taste buds come alive. one treat in particular brought her back to her own grandmother's cooking. what a beautiful experience to witness such joy. “We recently ordered cupcakes with Delectable Desserts for a very special occasion. They were absolutely perfect! Right after opening up the box, we were totally impressed with the beautiful presentation. These cupcakes were just incredibly decorated. Each one of them was like a small piece of art. We had a sampling of a number of flavors, all of which were successes. The cakes were incredibly moist and light, sweet but not too sweet. The frosting was very smooth and creamy, full of flavor, not too sweet, and complemented the cake. Delectable Desserts really made our occasion special. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality really showed in every single bite. The service was great. The hospitality of the staff, warm and accommodating, showed in their passion for the job. They made sure everything was perfect with our ordered dish and delivered it on time, hence making the experience seamless and a joyful one. In short, we could not be more pleased with our Delectable Desserts cupcakes. They were truly the star dessert of the show at our special party, and our friends and family just loved them. “Was surprised about the comments regarding the moldy pitas. I think they use no preservatives at all which may be part of that, maybe the company should recommend customers eat fast or put in fridge. I do recommend their salad and take out meals. Especially their eggplant dishes.“

“A good place to try. Both shop + cafe, lots of light, good service. I enjoyed fish cake and berry dessert which name I can't remember but it tasted so good and fresh accompanied with coffee. No common fast food like fish and chips or hamburgers, which is good for me, because the food tastes like home made , gives different taste and emotions. I'll go there again for more desserts.“

“I purchased a red velvet cake for my wife's birthday September 8th on September 9th after we had a piece we put it in the freezer I took it out today I thought a piece and it was still the most moist flavorful piece of cake I've ever had in my entire life I would recommend this Bakery for anything and anybody and for any occasion I will definitely be back again and again it is worth every single penny thank you so much for an amazing cake my wife loved it“

“The food here is amazing. I got a variety of pastries to take home and everyone loved them. I stayed and had coffee and chocolate croissant with a friend and it was delicious and a wonderful atmosphere to catch up. The person working the counter was not the most friendly but that doesn’t really bother me, but that is why I didn’t give service 5/5. Everything else was perfection. Highly recommend for a special treat and the other little shops next door made for lovely browsing afterwards.“

“We tried Bagirls for the first time and they are soooo good! Blueberry, chocolate chip, and banana! Blueberry is always a hit with my family, but I was really surprised by the banana. Wasn’t sure what they would be like but I think they are my new favorite. Just the perfect amount of sweet banana flavour. Highly recommend!“

“Been reading comments . I’ve been buying Antoinette’s cheesecakes for years . I remember when she first started out in Dartmouth. I have to say, whenever there’s been a misunderstanding with my order, Antoinette has always gone above and beyond to treat me fairly And make things right. While there have been a few employees with a bit of a problem communicating with customers , Antoinette and her son , in my opinion, makes every effort to serve their customers . There will always be misunderstandings and people will always find reasons to complain but you can’t loose sight of the fact that Antoinette stands by her product and is very committed to providing value to her customers and has been known to truly service the product she sells. I’ve eaten cheesecake in every province in Canada and a lot places around the world and her cheesecake stands above anything I’ve ever eaten . We are lucky to have her stores !“
