But, some ice cream flavours are definitely better than others (some are starkly mediocre) and I often find myself disappointed in the flavour choices — I just want some classic ice cream options and often they have more specialty flavours or fruit sorbets. Grilled cheese and burritos are amazing, soups can be hit or miss. I have found myself, unfortunately, feeling Dee Dee’s is overrated at times.“

“Stopped in while on an evening walk along the waterfront. Enjoyed ice cream in a waffle cone. Ice cream was good, but the waffle cone really elevated the entire taste. I’ve since been back twice and noticed that the ice cream flavors are not always available. Staff working the counter are friendly and offer generous scoops.“

It was my first time in this establishment and I marvelled at the snacks that brought me back to childhood. I tried their espresso creamy iced coffee and it was tasty. Ruhi served me and my friend. “I went in to buy a milkshake for a friend who was sick. I ordered the chocolate peanut butter shake. I asked if they were thick and the reponse was a wonderful smile and "We can make it however you want it". The milkshakeologist rolled up her sleeves, pulled her hair back, washed her hands and started her magic. She scooped, poured, drizzled and mixed, scooped, poured and mixed some more before the final two drizzles and it was done. I was taken back at just much effort went into one shake. My friend said it tasted amazing and she will be visiting the shop herself. I will be going back to get one of the decadent milkshakes or sundaes and cannot wait! Fantastic first experience!“

“I’m a regular and I have to say, this place is amazing!Service and taste has been consistent from the start. Their chocolate doesn’t have that “generic” taste to it and really hits the spot. Their dipped cones are so good and their fondue tins are a must try! I had their hazelnut fondue tin with some crispy dough snack I had at home and it was such a delight! You can also mix different chocolate flavours which is awesome when you want to try something new. Their other desserts are also great. They are generous with the servings and chocolate, something which my friends and I appreciate. The staff is friendly and allow you to try the different dip flavours, which is really nice.I don’t think I can get bored of this place.“
