“We had the pleasure of eating at Bird’s Nest today, Chicken Club Sandwiches (and we have our usual cup of coffee everyday there too) The food is outstanding, based on fresh seasonal ingredients clearly put together by a chef that has a true passion for food! “We walked over to this place as a soccer team while in town for university games and I was thrilled to see such a beautiful spot close by. From the moment we entered, the staff were incredibly friendly, flexible, and knowledgeable. They took time explaining about some of their drinks, and the drinks we all ordered were absolutely delicious. Not to mention the desserts - WOW! I purchased a bag of their beans and it is seriously one of the best bags of beans I've ever had to brew from home (and I buy a lot of beans from various roasters across the Maritimes). “Been reading comments . I’ve been buying Antoinette’s cheesecakes for years . I remember when she first started out in Dartmouth. I have to say, whenever there’s been a misunderstanding with my order, Antoinette has always gone above and beyond to treat me fairly And make things right. While there have been a few employees with a bit of a problem communicating with customers , Antoinette and her son , in my opinion, makes every effort to serve their customers . There will always be misunderstandings and people will always find reasons to complain but you can’t loose sight of the fact that Antoinette stands by her product and is very committed to providing value to her customers and has been known to truly service the product she sells. I’ve eaten cheesecake in every province in Canada and a lot places around the world and her cheesecake stands above anything I’ve ever eaten . We are lucky to have her stores !“

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the creamy oat milk lattes and colourful lemonades and we found ourselves retuning to the Cafe every day of our vacation. We had the opportunity to meet Lara, the owner, and it was immediately clear why this Cafe is so tastefully decorated, why the atmosphere is so enjoyable and the menu so very delectable. “Nour's Cafe and grill was recommended to me as i was in the area. And i was not disappointed. Friendly service. They have a speaker set up to hear each other properly. I got Nour's bagel (jalapeño and cheese) with egg, lettuce tomato. It was cut in half (didn't even ask for it ) tasty, grilled, and still warm. And bc i was still hungry, i got a small portion of their fries. MIAM! The spice they put on the fries are amazing. It adds more flavor. I would just decrease the amount of salt. The spices are enough, in my opinion. The portion was quite generous for small size.The only reason I'm not giving a full 5 stars is the salt, and limited payment options: debit or cash.It was a positive experience overall. Thank you!“

“I recently moved back into the area and was hoping to have brunch here every weekend. I had the Madurito breakfast which was a wonderful treat. The flavours were exotic and well balanced and I left quite satisfied. The breakfast came to $30.00 including tip. After searching online, I found this was almost double the price of any breakfast in Halifax. Wonderful food, but keep in mind you are paying for inflated food costs and for specialty ingredients. Not affordable on my budget, unfortunately.“

“This is my favorite Tim Hortons in Dartmouth! I know all the staff—they are always friendly, positive, and very attentive. Unfortunately, there’s no place to sit inside, but it’s convenient for takeout. I think they should expand this location so I can happily come here with my child during walks and enjoy a cup of coffee.

It’s also essential to add an accessibility button for people with disabilities, so it’s easier to enter with a stroller. But that’s more of a suggestion for the Tim Hortons management.

“My friend's and I recently had lunch at La Piazza. The food was absolutely delicious, the service exemplary and the atmosphere is very cozy. The cheesecake is delicious but a tad over priced, as were all the deserts, in my opinion. All in all, a very nice experience and we will definitely be going back for our monthly Ladies Lunch.“
