I used to buy a lot of goodies when I would visit my sister in Halifax. Now that there is a place in Sydney I can visit there or even get my son to pick up some things that I want. I love their sweets because I'm diabetic and even more now that I follow Keto. This is a great store and I'm so happy with their service. Keep doing what you're doing Kelly. GREAT JOB!“

“We stopped for an impromptu ice cream after our highway route back to the city got detoured. The ice cream was so generously scooped and the baked goods called to me from the bakery side. The cinnamon buns with icing made my mouth water and the Reece’s pieces pb cookies will be a repeat purchase.

The donuts themselves aren't soggy whatsoever, the perfect ratio of crisp/ moist, and not overly heavy when eating them. The price is also a sweet deal, 10 for $7 !!! 10/10 would recommend for a sweet treat !!!“

“I've been coming to the Italian Market for over 10 years. It's my favourite lunch spot in Halifax. Really reasonable prices, especially considering the quality you're getting. Brought a friend for lunch and he was blown away at the good portion sizes for the price, and the service is always friendly. Lots of niche imported Italian goods on the grocery spot as well.“

“I read it`s burnt, then I read it`s not cooked enough. I read it gets green mold on it. What is it with you people? It is not burnt and if you got a batch that was not cooked enough because they are trying to make everybody happy. Only a real not very sharp person would complain about mold. It is a very old recipe that when it made, it was used the same day. No refridgeration back then. MORE IMPORTANTLY NO PRESERVATIVES it will turn green if not used. You eat the stuff that has all the preservatives in it and you might not turn green either! Good luck!

“I had the pleasure of attending a private event hosted at the Mellow Mug last Friday night. As a first-time visitor, I found it to be a very welcoming space, from the decor to the seating. I think I was lucky to be attending an event after hours, when I believe their stock in baked goods to be low. As it was, I had difficulty narrowing my choice down past 3 items. I can just imagine the increased difficulty it would have been first thing in the morning with a full complement of goodies. The very friendly staff helped me to narrow my choice to one and if the cookie I ate was an example of the high quality of their baked goods, then I am grateful that I live half an hour away and not around the corner. The selection of drinks offered was also amazing and I look forward to visiting again during their regular hours.“

“Three guests in our party. Ate lunch there enjoying the Broccoli and Cheese Quiches with coffees and a hot chocolate. Quiches were very light, flavourful and incredibly filling. As we were celebrating a birthday, a dessert was selected by each of us: a chocolate cheesecake square, a peanut butter square with chocolate layer on top and an apple dessert as big as your head made with puff pastry and sweet apple filling. Verdict? Delicious!“
