“Grabbed a table with a few friends last Friday night and the sushi platter came out so fresh it honestly felt like a treat after a long week. The staff kept checking in without being pushy, which made the whole vibe feel relaxed rather than rushed. We also tried the miso black cod and it fell apart perfectly, easily the best bite of the night. Parking around that block was easier than expected for a Friday, so we didn't stress about being late for our reservation.“

“We had a good lunch today at Sushi Nami In Dartmouth. Our server was very sweet, service was prompt and my sashimi, nigiri, maki platter was very good! My man’s beef udon noodle soup was also good!

My problem, and I know it sounds trivial, is with the washroom. It’s just not befitting a Japanese restaurant. I’ve been in much better gas station bathrooms…this one had a cracked sink with rust stains, the metal wall-unit for garbage looked filthy, chipped paint all over. Normally, Japanese restaurant bathrooms are elegant and clean. It’s jarring to walk from a nicely decorated restaurant into such a crappy bathroom.

“Sushi Moto is a hidden gem. We've tried sushi from all over Halifax to Truro and Sushi Moto takes the cake. A lot of places forget that sushi is also about the seafood/fish and not so much on the rice. Sushi Moto sushi rice is very well made and proportionally balanced with fish/seafood for a perfectly balanced bite packed with umami flavors.“

“Went here Friday evening with a couple friends and the omakase board was honestly some of the best sushi I've had outside of a big city. The uni was silky and clearly fresh, not a hint of that ammonia taste you sometimes get elsewhere. Our server was super knowledgeable about the sake list and walked us through pairings without being pushy about it. Dartmouth Crossing has quite a few places to eat but most were common fast food places you see everywhere. Sushi Nami menu looked good and prices as expected. So we decided that we wanted sushi above all else. Wide open space inside, very bright, clean and not very busy in the late afternoon, as expected. The menu , four pages worth We ordered the Edamame, Mango Salad, Maki Dinner, Sweet Potato Maki, and Deluxe Moriawase. Dessert was lastly fried banana with three scoops of ice cream for the three pieces of banana… mango, black sesame and green tea ice creams Rather than go through in detail the why I would recommendation I will simply put it this way. Absolutely. Absolutely absolutely would I recommend this place. The service, the atmosphere, the choices, the serving the taste the prices everything about Sushi Nami Royale Is worth it. Our total bill for everything including $20 tip was $111.31 for two people and a lot of delicious food. I give it a 12/10“
