The worse thing that happened to David Walleys Hotsprings is Holiday Inn.
The restaurant had a cool, old timey vibe at first glance. Upon further examination it appeared to be ill maintained. The floors were popping, the laminate on the tables were peeling up, stuff like that. Then we were sat at a table that had a door next to it that was closed. Ask to be seated by the back windows if possible. So relaxing. Breck is amazing, if you can, sit in her area. Food is seasoned and cooked to perfection. Don't expect low-end portions. This is fine dining. Don't expect McDonald's speed. This is fine dining. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our reservation was at 5:15. Perhaps going a bit early was an advantage.

1862 David Walley's Restaurant & Saloon offers a variety of experiences. Customers praise the helpful staff, especially Steve, who ensures a pleasant time with good service. The spa is highlighted as a great feature, and the setting has a warm, woodsy ambiance. The restaurant is attached to the Holiday Inn, which makes it convenient for guests staying there. Despite some reports that the restaurant advertises breakfast, it is not available, but the food is generally considered good, and the service is attentive. The restaurant can get busy, leading to delays in food service, but staff members are apologetic and try to make up for it. Visitors have enjoyed meals like the rib eye steak finished with garlic butter, which has been described as possibly the best ever. The grounds and overall atmosphere are lovely, although some feel the hotel and grounds could be better maintained. The spa remains a clean and well-functioning area, which is appreciated. Overall, visiting during quieter times can provide a more relaxed dining experience.
