“Due to emergency auto repair we had to stay in Gardnerville and Jerry's was highly recommended. We were not disappointed. Unique Mexican dishes, terrific service and a wonderful experience.“

“The restaurant had a cool, old timey vibe at first glance. Upon further examination it appeared to be ill maintained. The floors were popping, the laminate on the tables were peeling up, stuff like that. Then we were sat at a table that had a door next to it that was closed. Seemed OK at first, but then immediately after sitting down the doors were propped open so we had nothing but hot air blowing on us and the band that was outside was so loud that we couldn't hear the conversations between each other. I ordered stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer that were supposed to be stuffed with either crab or shrimp, I can't remember, regardless they came out stuffed with sausage. I was very disappointed. Then I ordered their 12 spice chicken with mango jam and it was served with a pineapple pico de gallo instead. Again, very disappointed. My father's food was not cooked to his preferred temperature. Service was slow but possibly understaffed and the kitchen seemed to be struggling. Food didn't taste bad and the service wasn't horrible but both leave something to be desired. Hostess was pleasant.“

“If you’re considering Ben and his team, do it! If I could give them 6 stars I would. They came and prepared + served at least 3 meals throughout my best friends’ elopement celebration weekend in Lake Tahoe at the property a group of around 30 of us stayed at. Everything from light bites, to gourmet pizzas, to a plated dinner, and a buffet breakfast bar - they absolutely nailed everything and took all of the legwork off of the bride and groom so they could focus on being present. Their food was fresh, unique, and absolutely delicious , and their service was just as stand out. They were efficient in prep and service, mindful of sanitary procedures, thoughtfully accommodated any allergies and intolerances, and communicated with all of us so well. Maybe most importantly, Ben was genuinely kind to every guest there. It was clear he has a passion for hospitality and takes pride in his work. As someone with past experience in the food service industry, I was wildly impressed all around and hope to be able to hire Ben myself one day.“

“This is the place to do some adulting. Lot's of friendly locals to visit with and get a rundown on the town's and where to eat and visit. It's worth a drop in. I usually partake in the early afternoon before evening meal but bar food will get you by too. I like a premium whisky so I can't really price a per person drink cost.“

“Absolutely lovely. We stopped by on our way home to California from Virginia City. I thought the name was cool. The staff were all friendly, energetic and helpful. They were knowledgeable about the menu and the town. Pizza was delicious and a nice selection of wines. We will definitely stop on our next visit. Louis, our server, was great!“
