“Due to emergency auto repair we had to stay in Gardnerville and Jerry's was highly recommended. We were not disappointed. Unique Mexican dishes, terrific service and a wonderful experience.“

“Though they advertise that they are open for breakfast (everywhere including on their menus on Google and the QR codes in each of the hotel rooms), you cannot get breakfast here. The sign outside the restaurant says seating is limited, unsure why. Food is a little pricey but if you’re staying there, it’s convenient, and not bad. More veggie options would be great. In general the Holiday Inn David Walley Resort is a shadow of its former self. You get the sense that they are inadequately staffed everywhere you look. The grounds are unkempt, garbage cans were at the max, yet the location against the backdrop is beautiful. On a positive note, all the spas were functioning and clean - and for a spa, that matters.“

“my husband and I went today for lunch. our niece kept talking about the steak sandwich. he went for that with grilled garlic and I had the chicken sandwich. it was melt in your mouth great. service center was fast.we had a bit of entertainment from Mabel. the granddaughter, little cutie.“

“What a great place. Eaten here several times and never disappointed. Breakfast is always superb with many choices. Lunch and dinner are have so many choices. Can't go wrong with the Taco Salad. “1 Kick Butt kind of place! We went for lunch, I had heard that they Were the winners of the best hamburger in carson valley for multiple years. One thing that intrigued me is that they were claiming that their onion rings were all from scratch in their french fries and their potato chips. Diana got the potato chips, I got the Onion Rings. Both were Awesome ? She had the hot Sicilian sandwhich I tried. Is the black and blue bacon Hamburger. Everything was excellent.The service she was right on and quite a character. Portions We're just right in there size, No need for Take home leftovers.... The interior was a kick!

“Stopped into this local watering hole while traveling through the charming town of Minden. I enjoyed an IPA on tap as well as a spinach-garlic pizza (made fresh to order). Beer and pizza were very good. Service was very friendly and although I am not a local, I was treated like ‘a regular.’ Atmosphere is ‘old-school’ casual. Location is right in the heart of historic (downtown) Minden.“

“We ate at Cook's while on vacation...and it was simply amazing! Our food was delicious, the restaurant was immaculate, and the service was excellent. They went above and beyond to make things right when my daughter didn't like what she was originally served. I highly recommend this "gem" of a place. They're the best!“
