“We had a small wedding reception here on August 19. We started in the garden until rain moved in and MacDuffs quickly moved us inside and upstairs. The food and service were excellent. Our waitress was awesome and working with MacDuffs beforehand was great too. We were a party of 18 from Michigan and everyone was very complimentary! Highly recommend!!’“

“With reservations the wait was about 5-10 minutes. Beautiful dining area. The food was good. Wait time from order to table about 25 minutes. Sever was friendly. Coffee cup and water glasses sat empty for 15-20 minutes. Not terrible but needs a few tweaks for me to give an outstanding rating.“

We ordered a little of everything - French toast, steak, biscuits and gravy, waffles, pineapple mimosas, Machaca burrito, pavement scraper, the no-brainer, hot chocolate. SO good! The French onion soup is the best I’ve ever had. The gravy on the biscuits is great! The place itself is so homey and the staff is incredible. Go here!!“

“Will start off by saying the food was great! However the hostess was another story. Recwntly had dinner on 8/11/24. The hostess would not let us sit at the table to start ordering drinks because we were missing 2 out of the 8 people in our group. needless to say we already had 6 ready to be seated. once we were seated the table next to us had the umbrella slanted. this caused the table to fly over from a gust of wind shattering a plate and cutting my leg. the stay was kind enough to provided a wipe and some bandaid. We continued our night until the hostess decided to empty water cups from other guest into the flower bed behind us. Which then caused the dirt to splash up on one of our guest white shirts and be covered in mud. A smug sorry was replied out. As stated before the food was terrific and the wait staff was great but the hostess needs to be replaced.“

“Great local pizza place. We ordered a supreme and cheese pizza and a Caesar salad. We got our order to go and they were fast and the quality of the pizza was good. The lettuce on the Caesar salad was wilted and seemed like it had been sitting in the heat which may have just been us getting it for takeout. The dressing on the salad seemed homemade and we enjoyed it.“

I was greeted by some friendly ladies, the coffee tastes like coffee, and they gave me a complimentary white chocolate coffee bean. I have always heard that Pho’s are the typical soul food but once I tasted I realized that yes they are 100% soul satisfying food.

We ordered the following here and both the items were delicious, soul satisfying, affordable and in good quantity:

I recommend this place 100% to anyone visiting South Lake Tahoe. You all will have great experience. Our total amount for the above 2 dishes rounded up to about $40.
