Ever since our first taste of Caren’s double chocolate cake, we have gone back multiple times to purchase the cake. In fact, just before closing on Saturday before Easter, we stopped by the store and got to meet Ms. Caren herself and see her decorating my birthday cake. It was almost closing time, but she went the extra mile to create the cake for me. Thanks to her, I’m celebrating my Easter birthday with the world’s best chocolate cake! “My husband is French so we are on a perpetual quest to find good bakeries in the States that will hold us over until the next trip back. His eyes rolled back into his head when he tried their baguette. Comparable to boulangeries in Paris and dare I say better than some as well. On top of baguettes I picked up a chocolate eclair which was delightful as it’s more on the dark chocolate side and not sickly sweet, passion fruit patisserie which was absolutely divine, plus chocolate and raisin croissants. The raisin croissant was the best I’ve ever had, better than in Paris. And chocolate croissant was pretty standard. To say we’re thrilled is an understatement, we’ll happily drive 30mins each way for our bread from now on.“

“We stopped by yesterday and got baklava, cigarettes, areshki - both with Nutella and cream and chak chak. The chak chak was not too sweet and totally addictive. Kids loved the areshki. They had a lot of fun separating them and mixing up the shells with cream and Nutella. I had to take it away before they ate the whole container. Baklava and cigarettes were divine. We were on our way out but then we saw the still warm fresh baked bread and took one of those too. We will definitely be back.“

I had the best coffee experience in Vegas here, particularly with their creamy pistachio latte made with real pistachio butter and oat milk. It was rich and satisfying. I also enjoyed a delightful cinnamon pudding and a hearty white bean soup. The coffee was perfectly mild, the service was prompt and efficient, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for the Wynn—$36 for all three items is a steal here. The cookies were absolutely delicious and spot on to the flavors they were inspired by. The cupcakes are mini and perfect to make a cupcake flight of flavors. They use real matcha and lavender syrup so it tastes really fresh. We also got a whole bunch of pastries but our favorites were the garlic cheesy bread bun, the sausage rolls, and the strawberry cream bread. Will absolutely be coming back for more!“
“Cute cafe. We ordered a croque monsieur sandwich and French onion soup for lunch. The sandwich was not warm which was disappointing. The sandwich should have bechemal sauce and cheese with ham. The sandwiches were already made up in the case and just put in the microwave or oven but came out cold and really lacked flavor. We are used to French onion soup having cheese melted over the top but it was served in a very small paper cup so the cheese was just mixed in the soup. Not worth the $7 price. We will definitely try them again but not those choices. Their pastries however, were fantastic! We had a chocolate almond crossiant and opera cake. Very rich and delicious ?“
