Ordered a Keto burrito and asked for no avocado due to allergies, I watched the line cook put avocado all over clearly not reading the ticket that said no avocado... once I received the burrito I had to open it up in front of them and point out they clearly didn't listen to me. Once remade it was OK but the temp was slightly above room temperature.
Got some coupons in the mail so I thought we'd give it a try. Honestly, I have not been to an El Pollo Loco in yearssssss. Never been a fan of chain restaurants either. Now with that said. I thought the food was good. It's a welcome change to Fried Chicken. The flame grilled chicken was nicely seasoned, moist, and juicy. I liked both the white and the dark meat. The sides and the salsa was not bad. I would strictly go with the chicken only next time and skipped the sides.

I have always liked this location. I've been here several times over the last 5 years. I've never had an issue with using paper or digital coupons. Food is ready very quickly, staff is cordial, and the eating area always appears clean (I always get the food to go, though).
