At 8:30 a.m., she was the only employee working and was handling a constant stream of incoming orders by herself. Despite being placed in what appeared to be an overwhelming situation, she remained professional, courteous, and transparent with customers. Before people ordered, she kindly let them know there would be a wait. Some customers chose to stay, while others left, but everyone was given fair notice and treated respectfully.
I have a great deal of respect for her work ethic and positive attitude under such difficult circumstances. Looking through many of the 1-star reviews, a common complaint seems to be customer service. However, it's important to recognize that providing excellent customer service becomes incredibly difficult when one person is expected to manage the entire operation alone while also preparing orders.
This employee deserves recognition for her effort, professionalism, and dedication. Management should take note—she represented your business well under challenging conditions.“

“I enjoyed coming here. The energy was fun, positive, and high. The music was nice, and calm, and the ambiance was light, and serene. The gentleman behind the counter greeted me right away, and he was very polite. He was able to make my smoothie right away since it wasn't busy, and it was delicious.“

I've been coming to Tropical Smoothie for a long time, and I can honestly say my smoothie was made perfectly. It tasted fresh, was made exactly right, and you could tell he took pride in what he was doing. Great customer service and a great attitude go a long way, and Rayshawn delivered both.
For it being his first day, he did an outstanding job. Keep up the great work, young man. Your effort, professionalism, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Thank you for making my experience a great one. I truly appreciate it, and I look forward to coming back.

“I really like this location, I go to this one and the one on paradise but this is my fav, I just feel the employees are happier here and therefore friendlier demeanor all around. Dayli (i hope i spelled that right 😬) and hamlet were patient with me since I'm always taking forever deciding..and offering suggestions. Great service. Great smoothies! I have to give a huge shoutout to Alysa Dunn at Tropical Smoothie! Lately, I had completely stopped ordering acai bowls because the quality just wasn’t matching the $14 price tag. I decided to give them one more chance, and Alysa absolutely delivered.
My acai bowl was fresh, beautifully made, and actually looked like it was prepared with care. It was the best one I’ve had from there in a long time. Great customer service and attention to detail really make a difference, and Alysa definitely restored my faith in the product. Thank you!“
“I walked in not expecting much—just a regular smoothie, like usual. But this experience was completely different. I absolutely loved the atmosphere inside the store, and Charles made it even better. He was incredibly entertaining, humble, and kind, even when I struggled to place my order. He walked me through everything and went out of his way to ensure I received the best service possible.“

“We recently found out this place was open 24 hours and got soooooo excited!!! We already love coming here but now, this is a complete game changer! There are so many late nights on our way home when we’re hungry but don’t want a “meal”. This is the perfect solution!!!“

“I don’t understand why people are so upset about a smoothie shop?
I went in there today and both kids that were were, gave great service.
This place is right by the SoHi gym and it’s a perfect spot for a good smoothie with protein and collagen shot. 10/10

“I had a great experience at Tropical Smoothie! The buffalo chicken wrap was amazing — fresh, flavorful, and made perfectly. What really stood out even more was the woman who made it. She was so friendly, welcoming, and clearly cared about making sure everything was done right. Her positive attitude made the visit even better. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!“
“Ive been coming here for years and it never disappoints. I usually just pick up smoothies here—which I recommend—cant speak on the rest of the menu tho. Staff is always friendly. I think the longest I’ve waited for an order is about 10 minutes. Its a good spot for a quick smoothie!“
