“We stopped by here after the hot air balloon races. The parking lot is small but we were able to get a spot. This is classic diner style, with seats along the counter. Talk about vintage vibes! Because of this, it might be difficult for large groups to be accommodated all at once, or sit together. But for groups of 1-3, maybe even 4, it shouldn’t be a problem. We noticed that groups of 4 took the corners, probably to make socializing easier. We were only 2 that day, so finding a spot wasn’t too difficult.

The good here is great. The chorizo is not great at all. Add avocado to everything - they give you a substantial portion! Fresh corn or flour tortillas. Attentive and kind wait staff.

I have been to the Bawarchi Indian Restaurant on many occasions and every time I have been with my wife or entire family, we have come back with the highest satisfaction. Food quality, ambience, and the courteous service from the staff and gentle conversation with the owner are all top-notch. Today, for the first time, I got to talk to the owner a little bit informally and praised him for being a signature ethnic restaurant in Reno. But afterwards I was very unhappy to hear that their restaurant business is not making profit because he is not getting enough customers. That's why, for the very first time in my entire life, I am writing a strong recommendation for an outfit, which needs to excel financially because it is the best in its category in the Reno/Sparks township and needs to flourish. Please, my fellow Reno/Sparks residents, if you like to eat out, please try this place once, and you will experience what I have experienced on numerous occasions. If you are not familiar with Indian dishes, please let the staff know; they will guide you. Please give Bawarchi Indian Cuisine not just a chance to survive but to grow and flourish to benefit our community. Thank you.”

The food was great, I opted for the linguine scampi and it did not disappoint. The shrimp were cooked to perfection as well as all our other dishes, meatballs, and pastas! Our server Bryant was a total gem!! His service was exceptional!! Will be coming back to this restaurant for sure and recommending our friends as well! I sat on the patio and it was very relaxing and mellow, pretty view. I got the Back Nine burger and fries and a glass of sauv blanc. Burger was not only perfectly cooked, but delicious! And don't even get me started on the fries, so yummy! Service was great, attentive and friendly, without being overbearing or making you feel like you have hurry up and go. Overall, 10/10, I very much enjoyed my experience. It's not the cheapest lunch, but it's worth it, and honestly, every damn thing is expensive anymore. May as well treat yourself to a good burger! The not so great was service started out excellent as the night went on it faded away, they did start getting busy, understand that part. The bad when I made reservations I stated it was our 10th year anniversary, then we are asked about is this a special night when we arrived ? We stated i5 is our 10th year anniversary. I personally have never been to a steakhouse that didn't do something special for our occasion. Not even a special table set, or a special dessert presentation. Not impressed at all, felt like I did not put an effort in to this. My wife was fine with it not me. Don't feel I will return when we have many any other options.”

Today one of my clients showed up and stressed with the chaos that is life, she completely forgot to pick up a cake for her cake smash session. Ensue momentary panic— until she called C’s, explained the situation, and they happily let her know what flavors and colors they had available. Order placed— we snapped our portrait shots first— and about 25 minutes later the cake arrived and we had plenty of time behavior our cake smash portion of the session even began! The cake was beautiful, baby chowed down on it, pictures came out great, and the day was saved with almost no stress at all. “I just tried this place today, on a whim, and I'm glad I did. The food was perfect. Service was friendly and bilingual (thank goodness, because my Spanish is limited). Menu was well-rounded without being overwhelming.

I could see that it is a well loved restaurant - calm atmosphere, families and individuals were seated at booths and tables, and there were even a few chairs for those they may have had to wait for their take-out order. Steady business on a Saturday mid-morning. The tucked away location made this hidden gem even more enticing.

Loved the flavors. Homemade corn tortillas... yes, please! I ordered the huevos con chorizo, rice, beans, and a side of DELICIOUS salsa. 😋

I intend to frequent this restaurant again, whether it's for take-away or dine-in. Worth it. Definitely plan to try everything.”

Today I ordered online and when I went to pick up they stated they didn't have my order. I showed them my receipt on my phone and they got their manager. “I live near Krispy Kreme, so I visit this location often. Just like every other place around they have a short staff and it is a lasting result of covid. So many "fast food" places around here are staffed with 2 people. These sort of companies need, i assume, 6-8 employees. Yes, KK are sometimes out of an item, and sometimes close early and opens late. But every single food place around here still has to close up early, or open late, because they dont have the staff. I have had some disappointment with a place not being opened. But when they are opened and have a limited staff they really pull together. Krispy Kreem, even being a chain, has being going through this. I do not work for Krispy Kreeme and I don't know anyone there. So this is just my experience today. I arrived at Krispy Kreme early this morning and ordered a dozen glazed, and a dozen assorted. I pulled up to the window and asked about the leprechaun donuts. I asked if they were available. With my donuts already in their boxes he changed my order for me. The manager, England, was the one at the window. I saw one other person near him, and one more in there, and ai am pretty sure that was it. My morning wasn't going the best, but he made my day and made smile. I have been there a dozen or more times. Always happy, I would leave many reviews all positive.”

This is one of the best taquerias in the area, everyone that works there is amazing and I am treated like family each time I go. I highly reccomend the tacos, burritos, nachos and Quesadillas.

They do get pretty packed around 12pm lunch time so try to get there a bit earlier or after if you can.”

“This is by far the best taco truck I have been to in many years I got the carne Asada burrito which came with rice beans, Carne, Asada, onions and avocado sauce and the best spicy red sauce. I’ve tasted in a long while the Horchata was terrific $20 worth every penny the guys were friendly and the food tasted authentic. it is authentic as for a truck driver always been on the road. It’s good to have some good home. Cook meal. There’s plenty of truck parking all around.”
