“My family, wife and two daughters have been coming here for about 10 years. We come from California and would stop over on our camping trips to Yellowstone, Wyoming and Montana. Carlillos soon became a regular stop for any business in the eastern sierras. I grew up in San Diego and this is the best Mexican food I’ve had. Not because it’s complex or a fancy restaurant, it just makes you feel at home regardless of where you live or where you came from. Great family, atmosphere and food. I usually get Huevos Rancheros and the family tries something different every time and it’s always good. Girls are in college now but they always ask when are we going back.“

“We stumbled on this place because we drove by and saw a sign out with taco specials. The 1$ chicken tacos were excellent! Service was excellent as well. I definitely will be returning.The only thing I could even come close to knocking on them would be their location.“

“It's not just Mexican cuisine; there are several other options from Italian to American! This is one of my favorite places to eat in the Reno/Sparks area. In fact, it's my very favorite non-buffet restaurant there. You could literally spend your whole vacay on the property and have a satisfying time. I recommend Western Village as a whole, and Pancho and Willies specifically. The staff is easy on the eyes, too, but that's not why you should go. Okay, it's not *much* of the reason ;-)“

“The menudo here is bomb! I never thought I was going to get handmade tortillas but boy I got a surprise. This places is definitely a jewel in town if your looking for a good menudo, this place is definitely a must go, they are also way different than others this place will ask you if you’ll like pata or not. Not like in other places they just won’t even ask you nor add it. Definitely recommend them definitely will be coming to try other foods from their menu.

Parking: They have parking in front of the store but they also have lots more in front of them.“

“Brandon made sure our burritos were packed with delicious ingredients and our drinks were perfectly chilled. While passing through, we wanted something yummy, and the burritos delivered. I called in our order for carryout, and my wife went inside to pick it up. She grabbed a Coke from the fridge, but Brandon mentioned it was just put in. He quickly found a cold Coke for her and an orange soda for me. We both got super burritos—one with shredded pork (carnitas) and one with beef (carne asada). These were some of the best burritos we've ever had. After being sick for over a week, this meal revitalized me. It hit the spot! I highly recommend stopping by for some fantastic Mexican food. Popular stop for truckers and lots of parking.“

“I visited LasTrojes with a large group of friends for lunch. Our server, Izzy, I believe , was outstanding. She worked to keep track of our orders and made sure they were delivered hot and ready.
The food was fantastic, flavorful, tasty, and well presented. My cheese rellano was delicious.
I recommend this location as the server worked hard to make sure the orders were correct.“

“I had the Create your Own, 3 choice. I chose 2 Chili Rellenos and a Pork Tamale plus beans and rice.

The Pork Tamales were very good. They had plenty of pork and the right amount of corn meal for the pork on the outside.

The Chili Relleno were also very good. They were filled with lots of cheese and cooked in eggs. The sauce that covered the peppers was not too mild or too hot.“

“Tried this place for the first time. It was recommended to me by a client that comes into the shop and it was an excellent recommendation. Got my self a torta with a strawberry banana smoothie, delicious!!! One of the best torras I’ve had in town and the fruit smoothie was refreshing on this hot day! “Today we went here to purchase some masa fina( masa to make tortillas). My husband and I met the owner Stacy. What a wonderful, engaging, friendly, knowledgable and interesting young lady she is. We had such a wonderful visit. She is beyond passionate about her business and products, and we spent almost an hour chatting with her about her business and her passion..I was happily surprised to hear the corn they use is non GMO..which is hard to find and is another layer of quality. Today I purchased the masa, some house made lard, and some of their tortillas that they make out of their specialized drier masa that are made to become chips. The whole space is clean, as in spotless, in front of house and in the back where the masa magic happens. We are going back soon to eat..yes, not only do they make fresh masa/tortillas, they have an extensive authentic menu and we are so excited to be treated to their cuisine. In the mean time..came home and started pressing masa and making tortillas. These were the best tortillas I have had outside of Mexico, and they were in my own kitchen!..If you are a passionate cook, and love real Mexican food..here is your place..“
