“When traveling, we try and find local joints that are not tourist traps. This place is a hidden gem I’m sure the locals don’t want you to know about. Seating is very limited, portions are huge, and the food tastes great. The only downfall I see is a lack of fridge space in the hotel for the leftovers. I will recommend this place to everyone I talk with.“

I'm about 200 lbs, and 3 of those tacos were enough, I didn't even have enough room for the birria empanadas. Highly recommend for tourists! “Food was good margaritas were a bit expensive“

“So we were leaving the Las vegas strip, and my friend was craving menudo. I checked in the 30-minute radius of who served it and who had good ratings on maps. I saw that Chile Caliente Restaurante & Bar had good reviews and had good quality videos and photos on Instagram, So I called and asked if they served menudo on Tuesday the lady on the phone said yes and we went there immediately.  Now, when you get there theirs two entrances ones the bar area, and the other way is more of the correct way. lol the correct way would be where the red jalapeno statue is at. Nevertheless, the waitress Karen took us to the table . We ordered 2 menudos and 4 tacos with a beer and coke and water with an appetizer of chips and salsa, and it came with beans as well. I will say they have different salsa, so make sure to clarify what kind you want cause I got one, and I didn't think it was hot until 5 seconds later. Luckily, I had soda  lol. But overall the menudo and tacos and atmosphere was good busy even on a Tuesday. Will surely make this our menudo spot next time we are down this way.

Vegetarian options: The veggie section is on the last page and can be found in my photos I took. It could change if the menu gets updated but as of 10-29-24 its still there“

“We are locals and decided to head to the strip to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. (A little staycation) My husband and I both agreed on Nacho Daddy for dinner, and we are glad we did. This was our first time dining at Nacho Daddy. We did have a reservation and even with the holiday, we were sat quickly. The hostess at the front (didn’t get her name) was very nice and was worked very well under pressure. She sat us in Leo’s station. We couldn’t have been happier. Leo had a lot of energy, was very knowledgeable with the menu and extremely friendly. Since it was our first time dining, I asked Leo his recommendation on a Nacho dish and I’m glad I took his advice. I ordered the Chicken Tinga Nachos. And my husband ordered the Chicken Enchiladas. Both dishes were not only correct (with our modifications) but came out super fast. The dishes were so good. My nachos were flavorful and pretty filing. The chicken enchiladas were plentiful and delicious. Leo did a great job servicing us. He came over many times to check in on us to make sure things were going well and to make sure we needed anything. Leo provided such exceptional service. His positive energy, great attitude and personality made our night very special. This location is highly recommended for all people. We ended up sitting in a booth (inside), but they do have bar and outdoor seating. We also noticed that a lot of people were ordering the Fajitas. Looked like a very popular dish. “Tacotarian has multiple locations and are all 100% vegan! We have been multiple times for both brunch and dinner and neither time of day disappoints with options. It’s hard to pick a favorite dish as I haven’t tried one thing that was bad- you can truly choose anything here and will be impressed! The food always feels fresh and their cocktails are great as well. The food portions make sure you leave full without having too much and the price is very reasonable. “On a Sunday, we visited La Mona Rosa for their Pink Brunch. Parking was a breeze with a lot conveniently located across the street, and it’s just steps away from Fremont St. The atmosphere was amazing, with a DJ spinning tunes alongside a live bongo player. We walked in and were quickly greeted, the restaurant was clean and had no foul odors, the gentleman who greeted us showed us their menu and then told us about their Taco Tuesday deal. It is a must try by the way! $1.99 per street taco with meat of your choice!

We ordered tacos of different kinds to get a larger sample size and got the order to go.

The tacos were great! Fresh tortillas and meat, al pastor, carne asada, and birria, yum! We ordered some consume as well and it was an excellent pair with the birria tacos, (most places don't get this part right) overall I was impressed, the limes could have been fresher but everything else was great, including their red sauce (which is another thing most places don't get right), I'll definitely be back for more food! 9/10 La Chilanga, good job!“
