We thought the host of the cafe was attentive and friendly alongside Francis - she’s a very warm, attentive, and loving lady who also recommended us to try their special Eggs Benedict.

The Waitress took our order for us starting with coffee, Eggs Benedict, and Omelette with Ham and Cheese. Each meal served with hash browns, and mine came with an English muffin too.

We waited probably around 10-12mins, the Eggs Benedict came a bit later but not that much different from a wait.

What we loved about their breakfast, both weren’t too overpowering with flavours. And that we can simply add condiments when we want to.

The only downside was the coffee no kick of strong, bold and good flavour and aroma from the coffee - we felt just drinking flavoured drink. Also the ambience which can be a bit noisy around, especially, we came during the peak hours.

We want to give compliments to the staff, the cooks, and the overall service. We’re very pleased with the food. And special mention to Francis, her enthusiasm and energetic presence added value to the Red Hut Cafe.

“6 of us had a superb meal. The server was attentive, but forgot to mention the rolls had powdered garlic after I had told him I had a intolerance of Powdered and dried garlic.. I ordered the Lobster ravioli, which was an appetizer, for my dinner and a dinner sized portion was served. It was delicious and I devoured the whole dinner. Will come again when we are in the are.”

“Why is this terrific old saloon being touted as a 4 star American restaurant? While it is beyond cool in its old western cowboy charm, it is a saloon where locals, bikers and tourists come to drink all day and relive the bygone days. It is not a date night restaurant in any sense.”

“Best Bakery from the Nevada to South Lake Tahoe, and possibly all over Tahoe! Amazing family run bakery with quality savory and sweet treats! They also catered an amazing desert table this past weekend for a family event. My only complaint is the deserts were so good, they were completely gone by the end of the night and I wasn’t able to take any home. I guess my loss is everyone else’s gain.. next time I’m hiding some for myself.”

“My family had very good meals, mine was very disappointing. I have had their duck before and it was very good, last nite it was tough, chewy and not alot of flavor. I did let them know but they did not say much. 😒 I read the owners post, i am not in the habit of wasting money and leaving food on my plate, that does not mean it tasted like it should. Next time i will know better and send it back to the kitchen, maybe the response will be different. I did let her know at the beginning of the meal and she did not offer to take it back.”
