“AWESOME KOREAN RESTAURANT IN LONG ISLAND: I’m not a foodie and I don’t think I’ve ever posted about restaurants (but I am Korean) - I have to make an exception for this place. Yes, this restaurant is on Long Island, but the Korean food EXCELLENT (better than lots of places in Flushing) and service is OUTSTANDING. Every dish we’ve tried so far (짜장면, 순두부찌개, 육개장, 제육덮밥) has been so amazing, delicious, and authentic (especially the spices!!!). If you’re ever in the area, please stop in and eat here. It’s crazy awesome! Thanks to my friend for encouraging me to try at a Korean restaurant that is not in Queens. My family will be forever grateful - five stars and 2 thumbs way up from me and my family members. :)“

“I was craving collard greens - and looking for a new place to try. I found Village BBQ on line and was impressed with the reviews so off I went. Randy the owner is not only the nicest guy but a fantastic chef! He and his wife run the business. I had his brisket (at his insistence!) Delicious! Sweet potatoes and collard greens. Customer next to me raved about the banana pudfing so I added that too. All 5 star!!! Very happy I took the chance on a place in a gas station!!“

“I went to Beach BBQ and satisfied would be an understatement. Upon arrival I was greeted by staff at hat engaged as if we were family or old friends. I reviewed the menu and settled on the Dragon Glazed Salmon Mac and cheese and candied yams. The meal and service was superb. I highly recommend this spot ! Don’t walk Run to this restaurant!!“

“The staff and the food was amazing! My family and I went to celebrate my birthday. The host Mia and Elena was delightful and our server Minerva was gracious and accommodating. The manager Michael then gave us the birthday special which was the song and celebration along with a comped meal for me (with ID). Amazing!“

“We've been coming here for the past three years. My favorite dish is the honey lemon pepper wings with the truffle fries. Oscar makes the best wings! Hot, crispy and well-seasoned. We've tried just about all of the menu items to include the mac and cheese, yams, collard greens, brisket, burgers, Sweet Tai chili wings, ribs and the chicken and shrimp combo. My favorite is the honey lemon pepper wings with a Blue Mai Tai. Their hours during the winter are iffy, but when they are there, it's always a good time. Music is great and the sound is crisp, never too loud. Staff is friendly and the owner always comes out to chat with us. Prices are on par with the rest of the restaurants on the Mile.“

“Place has a very local dive feel. Came across this place in search for good wing spots in Nassau, a journey I've been at for a while now. Price for the quantity and quality was very fair ($15 for 10 wings.) These were some of the best wings I've had in a long time after many places tried. The bartender told us we'd like them and he was not wrong. Spicy BBQ were really good and not overpoweringly BBQ flavor. Wings were a nice size and delicious. Seating is limited but the place is a small storefront and the Knicks playoff game was on. Will definitely come back here!“

“I’ve never been to a rodizio restaurant before, and I came up to Long Island to spend Easter and my birthday with my daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. It was by far the best experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant, the staff were professional, knowledgeable, efficient , the food is constantly hot. I would rate this restaurant at 10 star! “We were the only customers. Service was top notch. The waitress spoke Korean and Mandarín. We ordered eel and short rib on bbq and a hot stone pot bibimbap. There was so much food. “Good chicken that doesn't quite get to great chicken. That doesn't mean don't eat here, just set your expectations appropriately. The name? That's great.

The grilled chicken was fine. It might have been slightly over-roasted, and wasn't exploding with Maillard flavor the way a great fire-roasted chicken is. It comes with two sauces, one a bbq sauce and the other buffalo sauce. Both had very heavy vinegar notes. The mac and cheese could have been cheesier.

Service was fast and pleasant.

Would I eat here again? Yes. Would I go out of my way to do so? Probably not.“

“Well where can I start, stopped by to get something to eat after taking an exam near the location. First off the atmosphere is nice with traditional tables and chairs expected, nice Spanish music playing in the background while one enjoys their meal, a wide variety of Juices and a good selection of foods to try personally the ribs were amazing and the fried chicken even though a bit cold was delicious. The place is chill, came to to eat with my father and the pricing wasn't that bad for two huge plates of food, around $50+.

“This location has been around for a very long time, about 40-50 years & the food is good & prices are reasonable. I've been eating here since I was a kid! The place is neat & clean & the staff is friendly & accommodating. The chicken or shrimp dishes are pretty good & I think they serve beer (plz verify). I definitely recommend them.

“I was craving fried fish tonight . I just had to have it. Im scrolling through Yelp trying to find a place to eat fish and then I scrolled upon her. Maxine's On The Boulevard. I was driving and looking for this place. It wasn't lite up, sign was dark, but I caught the name Maxine and I said that's it, made a u turn, and parked around the corner. I thought to myself this is a hole in the wall. People where coming in and out of this place. I called a head of time and asked if they had catfish and whiting and she said yes. Baby, let me tell you I ordered my food and that was one of the best fish and chicken I had in queens so far. This is going to be my soul food spot from now and I hope they stay consistent. This place is a must try.“

“We visited Chandani Restaurant for their weekend buffet and had a great experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and felt just like a home cooked meal. We tried many items from the buffet and everything tasted wonderful. The naan was soft, the halwa was warm and sweet, and the curries were rich and cooked with care.

They had a very nice variety. We enjoyed the Goat Siri Payee, Haleem, the AMAZING Parathay, and Makhni Chicken, all of which were cooked with deep flavor. The Halwa Puri with Chana and Aalo was a classic comfort dish and tasted great. The chai was good, the achar added a nice touch, and the lassi was refreshing. There were many other options as well, and everything was prepared well.

The service was friendly and the staff kept checking to make sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant was peaceful and clean, and the seating was comfortable with plenty of natural light. The bathroom was also clean, which we really appreciated.

Overall, this buffet is a great value and a great experience for anyone who enjoys Pakistani and Indian food. We will definitely come back again and recommend this place to family and friends.“
