“Their food is good but customer service is lacking. In 7 months they have screwed up my order 3 different times. I order about once a month. I feel like I should have been compensated a little better for my inconvenience if they want return business. Not looking for a freebie. Carbone's in Alden does a much better job overall. “I ordered take away lunch today for Mother's Day because all I wanted was their delicious turkey club and fries. I had a special request that was delivered above and beyond and it made my day. As I was paying I was asked and handed a beautiful little potted marigold and I just want to say this was one of the best experiences I have ever had a restaurant before. My lunch is delicious and perfect and my word the staff at WAK are always perfectly sweet and wonderful. I cannot thank you enough for making my day so special ❤️ Happy Mother's Day“

“Maybe we were overhyped. Everything I heard and read said this place was legendary. But the menu was limited: beef on Weck and buffalo wings... or if you want a pizza, you can get the same options but on a crust with cheese. Otherwise, fairly standard sports bar apps.
The inside seemed too dark for a lunch, and the 'outside' area with lots of snow was crowded. Service was polite, but slow for such a small menu. We're told the place always gets a wait by noon and yet it takes 25 minutes to get your food even with so few options for entrees seems uncalculated and unnecessarily slow.
Food was good, but I'd say I've had equal quality wings and sauce at a bit fairer price. And the beef on weck seemed on par with Charlie the butcher, but comes with a handful of chips, not fries, at $15 for just the sandwich? I couldn't go 5 stars. Cost of business, I suppose

“Dining at 189 Burger was an absolute joy from start to finish! As soon as we walked in, the lovely hostess Mikayla greeted us with a warm smile and seated us right away. Almost instantly, we had refreshing glasses of water in front of us, followed closely by expertly crafted cocktails that set the mood just right. Our server, Maddie, was a true gem—always attentive and cheerful. She took our food orders the moment we felt ready, making the whole experience feel seamless and enjoyable. The food was delicious, my husband ordered the pot roast dip while I ordered the bourbon onion burger. It's safe to say we left with smiles on our faces!“
