I have to come to their defense because the Great Cape is thriving, the people are just 100% awesome and the food is fantastic, slow service? What is she talking about?!!?? The service was very attentive with multiple staff members interacting with us, the portions were more than ample, and the quality was great. Very fresh. I had the 1-2-3 (1 French toast, 2 pancakes, 3 eggs & 3 large strips of bacon). My husband had the Western 3 egg omelet loaded with veggies along with whole wheat toast. He gave me a little help finishing my order. The prices were far more reasonable than those found in our area of southern CT. The atmosphere is welcoming, but it isn't an upscale decor which wouldn't be expected in this type of establishment, hence the 3 stars.“
